How do you approach them? What do you say to them? Cause...I can honestly say lol, that Londoners (I'm one myself) can sometimes be a lil harder to break the ice with cause we're a hard faced community lolol (the majority), but it might simply depend on where you're going. You mentioned two places, Brixton and Hounslow Central? Maybe the next time you come you should try visiting different places and you might get different results.

my english is not well but when i come in london i go only on the place i know and mot my aunt help to find people

i think most of us londoners r a lil' wary of evry1 at the moment cos of all da stuff thats happend ova da past couple of months

but yea u shud try different parts of london n see how it goes
