Hi.. I wonder who of ya'll had ever lied to there parents.. about big things, small things.. just things. And the reason and what you think of it? Any experiences?
Ive lied to my dad about who Im going to.. cuz he wont allow my to hang with boys.. even if theire just friends. Ive lied about where I got some things, cuz I stole those. Im ashamed of it but my friends were doing it.. and so on. Ive lied about who Ive gone to at night. i sad a had a sleep over with girlfriends, when I was actually watching dvds with male friends.. Or swimming with them in a public swimming pool haha. I lied about a cople of grades in school. I used to think they were just some small excuses, but when Im thinkin about it now.. I lie a lot. And telling lies is a bad thing, its stupid to do. But sometimes you just dont have no otha choice. When parents forbid you things that others are not forbidden to do.. And when youre young you wanna have fun, and for that u sometimes need to lie. But I will tell my parents about some things soon or later.. in a couple of years I gues..
You?

I always have to lie to my parents. I don't want to, but I won't have a life otherwise. If i'm going to a friends house and it happens to be a boy, I have to lie, my mum assumes if it's a boy it must be my boyfriend. As most of my friends are male that means I have to lie a lot.
But I will tell my parents some day..................... just not anytime soon

I've probably lied to my parents back in the day but now i cant sort of see why they say no and tell you not to do certain things.
Your Parents dont tell you no for any old reason. They try to protect you, you could have gone to you see these male friends, next thing you know they are forcing themselves on you. Or you've gone out late at night when its past your curfew and you've been kidnapped.
I know its a bit extreme but sh!t happens.
Maybe you drop the line - but their my friends they wouldnt do things like that i know them.
but hey,
1. Grown up with a bunch of my mates in my area from say 13 and i'm 19 now, but they threw bricks through my aunts window, why? cos they thought she grassed them up to the POlice when they jumped one man.
2. Just because you knew someone from day 1 it doesnt mean you know them. You know does ones when someone gets arrested and you hear people say 'I didnt think he/she was like that.' or 'but i know them they wouldnt do something like that.'
your parents love you and they can go over the top but if i did do what my mum told me then i wouldnt be living this sh!tty life that i am living cos of my lies and actions.
Trust me i had bare friends, popular student but now i know who my REAL friends are and thats a handful of people.

Im afraid to say, I haven't lied to my parents about anything! They had me young so there is only 18-20yrs age gap, and they are like my best friends - I tell them EVERYTHING!!! confused2. Whenever ive done something I don't think they would be proud of, Ive thankfully been able to talk to them both about it.
