Hi. My school has a camping trip that organisated that lasts 3 days. It so you can get the other pupils of your ages in your school. Well.. Im the only black girl on the trip cuz a few of my other lack friends do go, a few days later, and the rest of my black friends just dont go. They letted their parents call zo they wouldnt have to go haha, while actually you MUSt go. Well, I didnt want to go either, but my mama is white, she told me it would be fun and so and so. But I made her call up the school and tell them my dad wouldnt let me go ; ) I mean, Id be the only black person on the trip, and we as afro people have differetn hair! I need much time to do my hair in the morning.. they dont! For them its easy.. cuz when I wake up my hair is standing up, and I aint gonna sleep outside, like al ost negro in the woods pff.. My mama just dont understand that, I hope you do =)

What's confusing?

She is going away on a school trip and is worried about being the only black person there. She raised some concerns about her hairconfused3and how her white mum can't relate to the alienation she will feel in the woods.

If what youworrying about is your hair, why don't you just get it braided for the duration of the trip?

Anyway...

What the hell is the fascination with nature? (i mean like camping and fishing?). I really don't get it... you leave your warm, comfy bed to go sleep in the bushes, in atentand eat toasted marsh mellow?confused3and they say more black people suffer from mental illness... KMT.

Don't get me wrong thou i am a try "almost" anything ones type of person except for fishing (too stupid)... so i would more likely go camping ones just so i can speak about the pointlessness ofit but has got to be with other black people or mixed group... and trust me my hair isn't going to be the reason why i won't be going any more...

i had a wicked time at my school camps, simply because me and my clique took over and turned it into a summer fest with music and bbq.

okay maybe not that much..........LOL

but i am more into adventure and physical sports, so school camps suit me fine......

that gal is stupid to miss out on experience because of hair...........soon the years will go past like many old women with 5 baby brats.............bored of cooking and cleaning and nothing to show for life.

Anyways.. the survivel trip is over now.. ands I asked some friends how they felt about it.. glad as hell they were. They had to climp through woods and stuf, caring arounds wood.. Imagine a black person doing that. Haha funny.. not. Anyways, they had to go through rivers, and they had to wear their wet clothes the intired day. And it aint hot out there. They had to make their own nasty food.. sleep outside.. And all that stuf 3 days long? For €90,- ? Na-ah!

Yeah Im glad I stayed home, and slept in my own warm bed. It also saved my parents some money.
