Would you ever go out with someone who is a few years young than you? If you have how has the relationship going. If it was no roses then what was the problem.

The reason being is I know a guy who is very cutie but he is 2 years younger than me. I have not been out with any one younger than me before and I just wanted advice from both sexes.

So boys I want your input to

I personally tend to be more attracted mentally to older women, but of course physically to younger women. Although, I have met older women who looked just as young (if notyounger) than myself, and they were definitely wifey material. If the guy has a good head, then hemay reallycherish you because you could be a person thatis a catalyst to his growth as a man. That typically is not the case for men with younger women from my experience. In essence, what I am saying is that if the guy you like isn't just cute and actually isa mature and progressive individual then from his end it could be a verygratifying relationship. However, if this brother's head just isn't there then he will go into the relationship looking at you as something he really wants to screw because it is almost a fetish for young guys to be with a a significantly older woman.

Another thing to take into consideration though is that if you are not looking for anything serious, but simply playing the field, thenage really doesn't matter. Have fun with it.

Not at this age, as I am quite young myself and from what I have seen of guys around that age it is definitely a ''no-go'' area.

If you chat to him for a while, and you don't feel/notice the age differnce.... then go for it..

Hey Sharlleen,

Ok to answer your question no I wouldn't go out with any one younger then me withthe exception of it being a gap of one yr and that person being mature, and me liking them onthe level.

Although havin said that there have been successful relationships even though there are gaps. Two yrs isn't a big gapso u kno if ur feelin it and two yrs isn't a prob for you like most things give it a go -the only prob with youngmales as Thoth B3 said he could be just onu2 screwu-sodnt go in blind. Also depends on what you want serious not serious.

If you kno ur goin to regret not pursuing this, then my advice is not to live in regret.

Good Luck

I dont undastand women's issues with younger men. In my teen years i used to hear all of those excuses "they are too immature, women mature faster than men, older men are more entertaining, the women should always be younger..."

After a certain age (post teens)these rules no longer apply so that teenage mentality needs to be evaluated.

I dunno, I've never been out with a guy gounger than me cos I've always had a stigma about it. but on the flip side, I wouldn't assume that going out with an older guy equals a mature realtionship cos I been there and it really wasn't pretty! My partner is the youngest guy I've been out with (he's 9 moths older than me) and he's honestly the most mature out of anyone I've dated. So yeah, I wouldn't knock it til you've tried it but if its gonna be a problem for you then don't go there cos it will be playing on your mind and take the enjoyment out of it.

No i wouldnt i have done that twice before and the relationship was going nowhere i fell in love with them and all of a sudde both of them said they were not ready for a serious relationship and they thought they were i was gutted because i did care about them. I am 25 and i tell myself that i am not looking for any guy younger than myself between 30 and 35 is good for me or even 29 or 28 but i dont think i will go any younger than that. I must say they are some guys who are quite young and are very mature for there age but it is very rare but not impossible and on the other hand ther are guys who are old and act there shoe size. All i can say toyou is listen to yourself and do what you feel is right for you.

I'd date someone younger. I'm much more concernedwith the content of the character as opposed to age. You can get 30+ year old men who have the same 'mentality' as 19 year old young 'boys'.
