Default dating/seeing the older person - 25-11-07, 05:47 PM

right i just got out of i short lived something with an older guy,

ended up finding him long and childish.. but always screaming his age and big man rubbish....

am now enclined to think that maybe actually the ages that a person goes for shows there true sense of maturity. (to an extent )

just wanted o hear people thoughts on dating older people. and what there experiences were like

I went through that garbage with one of my ex's. We were the same age when it suited him and then he would play the big man card when he felt to. I know it depends on the mindset of the man but after that experience I tend to stick to men between-2 +5 years of me.

I also have to say that I do believe the majority of the time- from what ive seen; if a man chooses to date someone thats over 10 years younger than them, it does say alot about their mindset.

Ha ha ha..This thread give me joke. I thought some serious thing were going on and been waiting for it to heat up...Nah....most of my girlfriends were older than me but really made no difference in maturity in fact could have been them daddy.

@Shesheshe...not complicated really and self evident from a male perspective or at least some brothers..No man in his right mind is going out with a woman too much older at a particular age range. If younger you might want a more maturer woman because of what you assume that will bring. But after a certain age most man aint rushing no woman older or eve same age and want younger and hotter women. Aint rocket science. just common sense. One group is seen as potentially more exciting and the other not.

Go read some of those dating site profiles and its is a clear as mud..What men generally are looking for and want aint the same as many of their partners of same age.

when will blackmen realise that its older women who are the bomb.

body still intact..mature attitude and they know how to "drive stick"

plus once men realise that older women love to get attention from younger men....it enforces the fact they still look fly without having to dress all slutty like some young chick, then a man can unlock all the older pumpum he wishes.

see a lot of younger women simple aint worthy of a second gaze..dont get me wrong plenty are but think about it this way, if the chick is stopping traffic on road and got everyman (young an old) after here then whats her ego gonna be like.... fully gassed up dispite probably not owning anything or achieveing anything in life apart from a having a bangin body and a pretty face.

BP Agreed why I did not want young girls or those my age with their giggly giggly shit...But on the real when an older woman cares herself aint nothin finer..But man seen some beer belly lazy arse TV remote control in hand, telephone chatting, or restauarant eating and wine drinking XYZs who can't do jack except talk....

I always upset a lot of women in my family by saying at dinner or whatever..Man look how good the men look compared to you guys generally and it is true the men look good..Women look past it too early..Don't come with that women have to do all the family work which ain true in my family. Just different lifestyles..they are more sedentary sit on their arse chatting..While men are always about when they got spare time..

All women sleeping by ten most men up till morning..

No they aren't. How can you see 31 and 22 as remotely the same? Unless the former is retarded. That's a bit of a big difference in mentality imo. It's more so than biggers gaps among more mature people I think. I don't know what the levelling off plateau is, where the gaps mean less as you get older but 22 certainly isn't it. Not by a long shot.

Although as this case shows, you get childish kids of all ages.

What your saying is right but im not even really dealing with that. What im talking about is older men who actively seek younger women because they know they can control manipulate and get away with shit that they wouldnt be able to do with an older women. And that to me is just plain wrong. But at the end of the day it is up to the women to put her foot down and say no.

I would recommend any women of any age to stick to men the same age group.

I think some older men are very attractive because they have that confidence or that power which makes them handle there business. I dated a older man once he was really fine but I have to say that I prefer guys my own age early/mid 20's...because number one you have more in common with them in terms of where you are at in life and second they are not set in their ways...
