Dating scene - what am I doing wrong?

Hi I'm 25-years-old.

I've only ever had one girlfriend so far and a few dates since but nothing serious. I think I'm completely 'out of the loop' when it comes to dating now. I tried nightclubs and bars, but they're too loud and the girls are stuck up in there. And it's hard to find a girl with the passion for films and music like I do.

When I see other people together I'm kind of jealous, always wondering how did they get together.

My friends are not interested in 'hooking me up', as they have their own relationships. In fact, they rarely want to go out anymore.

What do I have to do to meet girls?

That's why I never give advice to people who come on message boards to ask total strangers advice. Especially when they haven't been on the Board long, or remotely gotten to know people's online personas, or let people get to know theirs. I find it very annoying,(on par with white posters and or trolls), actually. They are usually attention seeking and less than sincere. I wish everyone else would let tumbleweeds roll through the thread as well, when people like this come around,lol. Besides that, this guy may not be able to do what you can get away with doing, BT. Giving advice is tricky business,lol.

if the personnes attention seeking let them, man we all need attention sometimes... obviously the person is very lonely.....

jesus would never shon an attention seeker (for those who are religious) he would call them to his knees, and tell parables

Dont think anyone is shunning him, people have been offering their advice but it's almost s though the advice offered was not good enough, so he goes elsewhere. He's the one doing the shunning.
