To be honest ribs are simple. You can make your own sauce if you wish but I just put them in foil with Hoi sin sauce and some honey and stick them in the oven.
Lady Day are you working on a cook book - you seem to be collecting all my favs ? Please send me a copy.
if only i was a conniseur in the kitchen. i am seeking recipe ideas etc so that i can encourage myself to cook more often. my son who is almost 2 eats cooked food better than oven food.
i do love some good food though
Lemon and chilli season
about 4 pieces of garlic, maybe more cos i LOVE garlic
soy sauce, light and dark
all purpose season
and some dried herbs.
Usually let it marinade in the fridge for about an hour.
I will usually roast them in the oven first then when cooked I heat a wok, add spring onions more dried herbs and put the ribs in. then i pour on some black bean sauce on them with a little sesame seeds.
OR just leave them in the oven, you can make your own bbq sauce with ketchup and a few seasoning. I've been doing this recepie for ages and it always come out lovely. bbq ribs are my favourate food
