yeah its posted in this thread Are Africans no longer looking west

though what i find interesting is that she has a chinese mother born and raised in china has all the essence of a chinese girl. it just goes to show how insular chinese culture and people are. The regime they live under does not really make room for others. its not her fault her mum fell for a strapping african american man - its a pity he may not know he has a beautiful daughter who could do with his input to encourage her.

also she did very well in that competition. so there is hope.

I agree totally it's a real shame the way human beings treat each other, anyway no matter what is still is a beautiful girl.

Don't trust the source... no doubt theres ''racism'' in china but as the worlds next superpower rivaling the states within the next decade theres likely to be a hint of smear ingrained into any western media outlets reporting on the country and the region in general.

She looks good either way, thought she was just straight up Africa and getting slack for it.

Black folks really have a tough row to hoe in this world.

The twist to this story is that the girl’s father was/is an African American who impregnated her mother and then jetted. The stereotypical brother that has kids all over the place and ain’t around to help raise them.

So the girl has lived her whole life hearing about her mother being a loose woman who got left by a worthless Black man. Add to that, the emotional and identity issues she must have from growing up Black in a tiny town in China.

Then being thrust into the spotlight and now this…

I’ll be amazed if she keeps her head together and makes it through life alright.

But then again, I won’t be amazed if she does because Black women are strong and we get the brunt of it but push through and overcome. We are the most vilified, looked down upon and ridiculed, and yet we hold it all together somehow.

Other than that,

Chinese, Indians, Arabs… that whole Brown race is something.

Why Black folks ever wanna get next to them is whole other mystery.

I once worked with a Chinese woman who thought she was paying me a complement when she said that I didn’t look African American because I am “not fat and have light skin”. That heffa never saw it coming…
