@BlackBeauty

What is this with the sexual appetites of Americans?

Is it the same as their appetites for FOOD? :P

@Bluehoney

I have been to US many times and to be honest i think the issue is more vice versa. They really have a clouded view of what UK is all about and the people in it. To be honest they really ask some DUMB questions e.g "Is it true that everyone in UK stops what they are doing at 12pm to drink tea and eat crumpets in respect of the Queen?" ..............I mean COME ON!!!! Whos got time to be doing all that mess????

UK people see more US influences all the time but US only see one type of English person e.g Jeffrey from Fresh PRince / Hugh Grant and all the people that dont representthe majorityof UK.

Then they try and do the accent which sounds like NOBODY i have ever met.

What i do like about US is they speak openly about thinkg UK people wouldnt.

Peace~

I have been to the states but not really experienced the American way of life as my visits were only 2 or 3 hrs long at the most (Stopovers to or from Jamaica). What I have gleaned regarding the USA has been from the TV or magazines as well as relatives.

It may be a misconception but I know Bluehoney can clear this up: I perceive American men to be more romantic than their english counterparts, also more sexually curious and adventurous (oral especially lol). American men on TV you always see them sayin I love u to their partner and its so sweet.

American guys live for basketball? (as these guys live and breath football)

Americans are much more patriotic (where we may be like f*** the queen, f*** the government and this dumb country, the americans are all about 'God bless America... Stars and stripes etc......?

Can u confirm or correct me on all this please @ Blue Honey?

And another thing... a pet hate to do with Americans, why do they have to elongate evry last thing they say? Its so irritating!

Fridge = Refridgerator, lift = elevator etc... for instance I was talking to my Aunt and I was like 'wheres the bin?' she's like 'what? the ben?' I said 'no Aunty the bin' ' what? the ban, whats a ban?' Im like 'oh my god' (all impatient) 't.h.e. r.u.b.b.i.s.h b.i.n' she's then like 'ohhhhhhhhh, u mean the trash can!'' I could have cried lol

One thing I love and envy about Americans is their prom and high school reunions and the way its some big formal family occasion for you to go on a date with a guy, thats so sweet. I also love that they do drivers ed at school instead of some dumb ass theory and practical that we have to arrange and fund ourselves.

i am not attacking you, but i think it isdumb of you to feel that way, there are no stupid questions, the only way to understand another culture is to ask the people of that culture or to visit it for yourself, i am sure that you guys see more of america and read more about america than americans see or read about brits.. many people have this attitude like you and that makes it hard for blacks to come together..instead of teaching one another..some of us bash one another for not knowing/understanding..

again ..i can't speak on those things for other people..i can only speak for self..but i can guess that the sex thingcomes from religions trying to make people feel dirty about sex for so long, so people are just rebelling against society..and this is nothing new..nothing is new in this world..
Quote:
as for the food thing, as i see it..many people are stressed out and to busy to fix healthy meals so they go out and grab fast food or go to a restaurant.in america many peoplesocialize with food..on every occasion..when somebodygets married..when they die..birthday parties etc
and sad to say a lot of time it is not a healthy food choice..wings, fried chicken, mac and cheese...etc
Quote:
that is just my take on it...but don't take it as law

well again..i can only speak for self..and i have dated black american men, jamaican men and black british men, and i think that every place has men who are a like..something in there natures, especially black men, no matter where they are from..but i do find black ameican men to be more caring/gentle than jamaican men..and more open sexually thanbrit men, although jamaican men are open about sex, they seem to want to dominate and are rougher/freakier, while my brit friend was and still is emotinally bankrupt..but on many levels i find them to be very much a like

Don't believe that loud, pushy, ugly American crap which is such a popular stereotype among Europeans. Most Americans have manners, consideration and respect for others but wedo understand that we have certain God givens rights and we will stand up for them.

What do you mean? Why would you think American's s#xual appetitie would greatly differ from anyone elses. Americans on the average are just more open about a s#x and believe more in getting total gratification than some others do.

@Cutie though I don't have much experience with nonAmerican men, Since I have been in this forum, I can see that you are right about American men verses other men in the romance arena.

@ Cutie so in most parts of Europe the students have to pay for their own driver's ed?
