Looking for some ideas for something new to cook. My capabilities when it comes to the kitchen doesnt go beyond boiling milk . Nah, joke that..but still if anyone would like to post their favourite recipes and hmm perhaps a quick idea of how to prepare it.

My friend, since you want something to cook real quick. You best option will be to cook Eba( Feshelu).

1) Get some Gari otherwise known as Garium Sulphate

2) Get some hot water

3) Pour the gari in a bowl and add some hot water

4) Start stirring it.

5) You eba is ready

when u say home made do u mean made up? or existing dishes of my own interpretation? I cook when I'm ready (way to a mans heart, blah blah) lol, so if u require any advice or the full low down on any traditional Jamaican dishes I'm ur girl, name the dish and I'll tell u how to make it. lol, if thats not exactly what ur looking for, sorry, dont worry though, when Iyallah gets a load of this topic she'll be posting like no tomorrow as she's also a cook.

Idon't think there is anything easier than Curry Goat/Chicken. It's all about fresh ingredients, preparation and leave to cook.

[align=left]2lbs goat/chicken, cut into small cubs[/align]
[align=left]4 cloves of garlic, crushed[/align]
[align=left]2 ripe tomatoes, chopped[/align]
[align=left]2 large onions, sliced[/align]
[align=left]3 tablespoons curry powder[/align]
[align=left]Salt and pepper to taste[/align]
[align=left]1 hot pepper, chopped (optional)[/align]
[align=left]1 small piece of ginger [/align]
[align=left]1 cm slab of coconut (block coconut)[/align]
[align=left]Lamb/chicken seasoning[/align]
[align=left]1 spring onion[/align]
[align=left]Thyme[/align]
[align=left]Lemon/lim juice[/align]
[align=left]Coriander[/align]

[align=left]Preparations[/align]
[align=left]Wash meat in lemon or lime juice. Place the mean into a large bowl. Add all seasoning (do not add coconut). Mix and leave to marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.[/align]

[align=left]In a large dutchie pot, add enough water to just cover the base add slab of cocount and bring to the boil.[/align]
