The Prince's Trust Urban Music Festival is set to be the UK's largest ever celebration of urban music, running over the weekend of 8th and 9th May 2004 at London's Earl's Court.
With an impressive line up of UK and US artists, the Festival will feature breakdance/b-boy and MC Battles, DJs, workshops, beatboxing, urban art, an indoor football zone featuring top footballers, and a computer gaming zone. The Prince’s Trust, which helps young people to get their lives working, is keen to offer new opportunities to breaking talent at the event and a number of young people, supported by The Prince’s Trust’s Sound Live programme, will also be performing alongside the stars at the festival.
I happened to get tickets but these are the bootleg ones. These ones are so far back I'll get a better view from the train station blkdevillol. Anyways , it should be a good weekend. Is anyone her going, deos anyone think it will be a flop( big name pullout) etc
Any replies will be appreciated

Nando you should have gone on SUNDAY! iT WAS BAAAAAAD!
Alicia smashed it
Jay z hyped the crowd sooo much!
The freestyle competition was SOOO FUNNY. I don't know how the guy from Manchester got there. The little boy from london TORE HIM APART!
The breakdancing was WICKED!
Cassidy was OK
ATl were good!
lemaar was good (but his songs are quite crap)
Dizzeee was recieved really well, but i couldn't understand a bit of what he was saying!
But i had a great time!
Also i had to jump the barriers, i wanted to be in the standing bit. Sitting down, just wasn't good, you couldn't get into it!
I HAD A GREAT TIME!

But that's what kids are like. You must have known it would be full of teenagers!
But i liked it. I thought alicia was good, cos she usually just sits behind her piano. Jayz was wicked of course.
Yeah the mcs were crap overall, but i liked the small boy he was good man!
I thought Mos def was also good, but they cut his mic, that was out of order.

MBD I thought it was dopified as well
Alcia absolutely killed it, I was shaking my head all through and thinking ' is this girl for real'
Jigga goes without saying, killed his set
Dizzie style was perfect for concert, except when he went acaapella
Streets didnt come off well at all
That white dude who won the freestyle smashed it, when he said that dude was the 15yth member of blazing quad, that was heavy
when he said that manchester dude was mnore batty then barrymore, heaVY
When he dashed 20p down at the brudda the roof came up
Fernando , your a hard dude to please

Jigga should be in jail for murdering that set, I loved it when he got one part to say jigga who, then for the right side to say jigga what. That was heavy
When he played Encore, and Dirt off your shoulder I thought the roof was gonna come off
By the way, you went both days, which set did jigga kill the most, sat or sun
How was jamelia?
How was beyonce? Was her set better then keys

Cashmoney!
OH MY GOSH, i loved it when he did that jigga who, I was on the Jigga what, side, and we beat the jigga who side.
I have never been to a Jay z concert, so i loved it soo much! I managed to get into the standing section and the VIBE WAS CRAZY!
That white boy freestyler was funny. He gave everyone jokes!! How did that manchester guy get so far. HE WAS BEYOND CRAP, i could have beaten him!
Alicia's voice filled that stadium man, and she didn't even sit behind her piano for long!
When she sang a woman's worth - she just captivated me! WICKED!
I was really happy that the crowd loved dizzee, they gave him as much props as they did for the american acts!
Nando - i think you are a hard man to please. But its all good, you want quality!
