@obal85 and Cashmoney, that is so stupid because a woman of any color can have a bad attitude and an evil expression on her face, not just the darker women.

I'm a blackman who had never been sexually attracted to women of other races but blackwomen only.......so i dont find blackwomen with bad attitude and evil-expression on their faces attractive......i could care less if women of other races have bad attitudes as long as they dont have it with me.....i dont do them.

That's very true, I never thought of it like that. When will people just come to terms that the colour of someone elses skin is not the biggest problem in the world. Stop makin a big issue out of this. Being light skinned/mixrace is a wonderful thing, just as being black, white, asian or even yellow with green polka dots. Stop worrying about other people and concentrate on your own lives!!

Why cant you accept mixed race people? they didnt come from the moon, they aint aliens so why do you say they are confused? those ppl are confused who are unable to decide if they are attracted to women, men or both

Can I just ask those using pink, and other mental shades to be more considerate of others. It does hurt to read through posts of that nature!
anyway moving swiftly on
(kareem said) As I've said before I think the BIGGEST problem black women and dark-skinned women in particular have in this society is their low self-esteem and unwillingness to do what it takes to advertise their beauty. They're not promoting their beauty and bodies enough in this society like they should. Talk all you want about women and sexual exploitation but it's not a coincedence that white women happen to be the ones quickest to get nakedand just HAPPEN to be the ideal of beauty in most cultures.
that is the stupidest piece of shite I ever read in my life! are you this dense or you're just joking? I am black and I happen to attract men from all races, white, black, latina, asian even, I take my pick, everyone except black women themselvesknows how deseirable black women are, so please stop your ranting already.
I have a brain and a uterus, it vexes me to use one at the expense of the other

What does anyone suggest that dark skinned black women do to gain the attention of their eligible black men?Speaking specifically, about the intelligent ones who are saying something in society. We seem to lose them automatically to other races. Do you think we should feel comfortable crossing over into other societies where men idolize our blackness--but their families reject us. Or should we get together and work up a plan? Do you think it may have something to do with the way we raise our boys as they see us adopting other cultures and not our own?It seems that they have a lot of contempt for us. Or is this just my imagination?

I hate to say it but sometimes there is nothing that can be done. I have always been praised by light skinned and non black men, no praises from dark skinned black men, just insults.I have had non black men go out of thier way to impress me and call me beautiful, none from dark skinned men. Sadly I think this society is pretty screwed up some black men just think that being light skinned or white is better, prettier, and deserves to be treated better.I do not think thier is anything one can do, except to change images in the media and raise little black men to appreciate dark skinnned women. I think they (some black men not all)hate themselves and direct thier hatred toward us women. I had one jet black man tell me that when I got older I could not marry a black lawyer because they only like light skinned women with long hair (I am dark skinned with long hair and a lawyer ). Also i had one blackboy tell me who was my exact complexion, that he thought I was very pretty but he could not date me because I was too dark, his familytold him to only go with light skinned women (this was in the second grade). I think it is black people themselves who are perpetuating the negativity.

Though you are asking people no to make generalizations you are making the same mistake. Don’t generalize “dark skin woman. Though society perceives me as “dark skined I am black end of story. There are 42 shades of “color all are black. The words light and dark carry negative connotation. I don’t want to be attached to my person. Dark equalling bad, light equalling good. In the media “darker skinned women are portrayed as loud, crazy, and full of NEGATIVE attitude. This is not the case and I am a perfect example of a contrary to this stereotype.
In response to the “light skinned vs. “mixed “ people. I do believe “mixed people should not deny either half of themselves. Example Halley Barry, she acknowledges herself as a black woman. However her mother is white and raised her. How do you think denying that half of her makes her mother feel. On the other hand I can argue that no matter how light or mixed you are one drop of black and you will have an X against you the rest of you r life. Therefore, struggling as a black person ( or to an extent).

Exactly.......Blacks like ya......Its all in ur head.....U like making things up......its meaningless and without basis. Has it ever occurred to u that u should look in the mirror and rectify what is wrong with u facially or it could be your personality.......no man wants to date a woman that frowns at them. U need to stop blaming blackmen for ur inability to attract their attention......its just bollocks.

If some frustrated black women feel comfortable being used by white men for sexual experiment......i say its their prerogative....Black men have nothing to lose or gain on this basis....The eventual losers are the black women who are being used by white men for sexual experiment and get discarded ultimately.
