It is with sad regret that I have to announce that Blackbeauty our youngest member of the Mod Squad will be stepping down as a moderator in August 2004.

This is a decision taken by mutual consent as BB, is in her final year of a Degree, so naturally she will need 100% focus on her studies. Naturally I and all the other members of the mod Squad are very sad to lose such a valuable and dedicated member of our team. But as we know that BB is such a talented person with huge life potential we wish her all the best knowing that this is the best choice for her..

I hope other members of the villages will show their appreciation of BB, who worked very hard at keeping this space special and she will be missed within our squad.. Given this news we will naturally have a gap in our team and we are currently thinking about whether this space will be filled or not.. As Blackbeauty steps down officially in the middle of August there is enough time to consider our options carefully.

When we have made a final decision on this issue we will inform everyone in due course , so once again I would like to say a big Thank you to Blackbeauty..

I just wanted to reflect for a momenton when our paths first crossed...It was on Iyallah's thread about absent dads if I remember correctly.....that's when I noticed we had something in common, andin further talks you revealed to me about your course of study...journalism, which was also mine many moons ago, LOL! From that point on you became like a little sister to me but in cyberspace of course, ha!, ha!, ha! You remind me in so many ways of how I was at your age. You have the determination, the guts, fearlessness and that willingness to learn, to go far in your chosen field.
