Lucas - of course that is a double standard.
But on this forum, both men and women have stated their preferences.
I guess people (esp women) may be more sensitive about their weight. But as far as i'm concerned if a man doesn't want to date a woman over a certain weight. That is his own business! If a man comes out and says - right i don't want a woman over a size 10, then why would i get on his back? Just like if a man said, i don't want a woman over 5'5.
i couldn't careless about those things.
But some people as with everything have double standards. If a woman said she doesn't want a guy under a certain height, and then gets on a man's back for sayinghe doesn't want a woman over a certain weight, then that is wrong. Since it is all about preference.

I am only 5ft 2, no way would I everdate a short man, I prefer to look up not down. In my heels I am about 5ft4-5, it would look so odd if I start dating a man same height or 5ft5 or even 5ft 6, and no way would I ever give up my heels, ohhh no. In any case I don’t own a single flat shoes, so its not economical for me to date a short man really.
Personally i prefer men over 5ft 11, my ex was 6ft 2 and it worked out quite well.
