I agree with you, I cannot stand Ali G, I find his jokes offensive and how he thinks he is mimicking black people. As far as I understand he is Jewish (not sure which country he is from), but If a black person made fun of Jews in TV their would be trouble!

I do not care that AliG takes the piss out of other people eg Boris form Karygstan, the point is that we are already being stereotyped without turining it into a norm. I remember white kids started talking all ali g style and that pissed me off.

He could be called Barry Essex and drive a clapped out ford cortina with sticky his n her name things on the windscreen for "Baz and Shaz" cos you know his girl would be a Sharon. He would talk in the worst cockney ever, eat eels and cockles all day wear stone Island jacket and Burbery hat or Hackett T shirt. Wear reebok classics, carry a SUN newspaper in the back pocket of his tight jeans. He would spend the day down the pub and then indulge in some football hooliganism occasionally and smash stuff up. He would randomly break bus stops for no discernable reason. He would go out on the p**s and get so drunk he comes out of the pub and goes to get a Kebab but throws it up all over the street and his m8s laugh their socks off. Despite the display Shaz still goes home with him, they listen to the car radio he stole earlier on the way home where he shags Shazs mum as well (dear Deidre teaches yu a lot about these people).

I personally have seen many stand up comedy's where people take the piss out of white people, i think most if not all stand up comedien's joke's are based primarily on some form of stereotype...fat people, white people, black people, different religions, different professions. As long as there is a clear balance i for one wouldn't be offended, i don't beleive in double standards though. Whats good for the goose is good for the Gander so to speak.

Bro... I'm not sure how big he is here. Personally I have never seen his act and from what yall are describing, I don't think I want to....so by all means keep him over there, LOL!I do recall himgetting his own show on HBO, which is pay cable but as far as mainstream...I have not heard a lot about him. I will say this, I'm not big on tit for tat jokes about races and culture, ..some comedians can pull it off without being disrespectful and demeaningothers cannot...those who cannot shouldn't attempt it.

Thats his cover and the excuse he uses when confronted by detractors with his minstrel act ofracism. He may have started out that way but the character changed dramtically as he hit the big time and the joke is on us now. Dont fall for it. Next he'll be saying 'Can't you take a joke?'

he's taking the piss out of asians and whites whothink they areblack. note this is not the same as acting black. there are some white and asain people that can speak patois better than me. they are not acting but reflecting the environment that they grew up in.
