"He who is ruled by his appetite belongs to the enemy." -Ptah Hotep
If the drives are permitted to rule the self, the person becomes only a physical pleasure-seeker. He is concerned only about what brings physical pleasure: food, sex, physical relaxation. If the drives are given free reign, they will drive the entire community to seek only pleasure. Fear can come to rule and the person is constantly nervous or anxious in his persistent drive to avoid pain. -Na'im Akbar, "The Community of Self" (Revised), Mind Productions & Associates, 1994, p.3.
Sex is indeed a drug, an opiate. So many of us could not even live for a day without it, without going into severe withdrawal. In the tradition of european style progress, individuals are driven to experience orgasms or cease to exist as an emotional being. This constant need would drive anyone crazy. Yet insane activity, if possessed and unchallanged long enough, becomes normal. We are in the midst of a people who cannot stop obsessing. Excessive compulsion is their natural means towards progress.
There is never enough. One can never be satisfied. Even if you just had sex, when the next potential sexual act approaches or an offer is made, we must jump at the opportunity. Just like the hold of alcohol, drugs, food, money, TV and religion on some, sex is increasingly craved more, constantly more. If sex is your ultimate focus, then anybody and everybody becomes acceptable and desirable targets and the ultimate high…
europeans are psychologically driven by the pursuit of individual pleasure. And sex is the cheapest and most gratifying means of controlling and reaching this constant, and constantly elusive, end. Because of this, they are the ultimate pleasure seekers. These are a constantly agitated, restless people, seeking an unattainable fulfillment. And the sexual mindfield is full of traps and explosive devices.
Afrikans follow suit only to be caught and fragmented by the perverted and extreme sexual way of others. By embracing the logic that what is normal for one people is normal for all people, because they have come to accept the validity of other people's words over their own traditions, many Afrikans rush toward a european difference. They cannot see that following european culture opens them up to an alien and self-alienating way. In the european cultural context, difference in sexual practice is a fundamental measure of one's inferiority or superiority as a human being. For the more unusual and perverted ones sexual practices are, the more progressive or advanced (i.e., superior) that individual is taken to be…
The rhetoric of western culture must make people believe that there is no such thing as a normal morality. The immoral thoughts and behaviors that europeans and their minions engage in must be made to appear timelessly moral and normal through making morality and normalcy an individual prerogative (a special right or privilege).
Deceit is often hidden behind the promotion of confusion. When it comes to sex, in the west, morals means prudish, frigid, old thoughts and behavior. They indicate the absence of democratic freedom. In this culture, morals, however defined, have no place where sex and difference are the priority. Licentiousness (lacking in moral restraint, immoral) is the only universal rule. Morals are interpreted as taking the "fun" out of everything. And those who only engage in the historically morally correct behavior of the world's majority must be denounced as abnormal or somehow backward.
