well i did the test and it said,
Your data suggest little or no automatic preference for African American relative to European American
Ithink that means i am neutral to both races.
When the missionaries came to Africa, they had the bible and we had the land. They taught us to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened them, they had bible, and they had the land.

Hmmm. Not convinced about those tests. I got neutral for the race one but then I got moderate preference for united states over the UK. No way. No way with those bush pictures comming up is that true.

The test is in two parts, white good and black bad then black good and white bad.
It depends of speed of reactions to decide the results....
My criticism is that surely after the first set you are practised and ready for the second set, you now know how to play the game. When you do the first set you are unpractised so would be slower.
Wonder how they accounted for that?

Good point, by the time I switched over, I was already in the lefty righty mood. Plus to start with they did good and bad on their own, they never did bad and good own their own....or did they?

This FAQ adresses the issue :
|
Quote:
Quote:
Answer: The order in which tests are administered does make a difference in magnitude of what we call 'IAT effects'. However, the difference is small and recent changes to the test have sharply reduced the influence of order. Because of this order effect, the orders used for IATs presented on this website are assigned at random. If you want to check whether the order made a difference for you, you can take the test again and complete it if you get assigned to the reverse order. If you do take the test twice in different orders and get different outcomes, the best estimate of your result is intermediate between the two.

Im a bit unsure about the test myself. It said i prefereed the US to the UK which is definately not true. However perhaps it was the facxe of Tony Blair they used which I can only associate with evil.
