On the money every time my brother. Those political cartoonist are a deadly breed. Got some really vicious ones in this country. Political satire being a big thing in British culture.
But you are on the ball. One of your compatriots who I have utmost respect for Haki Madhubuti. Who for me has written the modern fighters manual on life studies and related things. He makes that point very well and many other crucial observations from a long life at the coal face in the struggle.
Haki says if we fight to win and are serious about it we have to developed rounded lifes and personalities, not solely related to hard politics or our special areas of interest. Finding time to laugh socialise or just chilling with people is alll part of developing that long term approach to this business.
Me I take it further by involving myself in sports with non political people of all colours. Politics never or rarely gets mentioned and definitely not by me.
This is a marathon not a 100 yard sprint....
Failing that you simply produce people who are drowing in their own intensity, which is actually bad for physical and emotional/mental and social health. It is bad all round to what we are trying to achieve. Rather than attract, it simply repells. If we repell people, the enemy wins that engagement and we lose..
Angry people ,stressed out people are no good to man nor beast...
Peace out dear brother.

offtopic.gif By the way enjoy that 9/11 link. Too busy too often to search the net for such stuff, so great when someone makes it easy. By the way got your web page on my favourites, because I am lazy like thatconfused3
You are absolutely correct about this being a marathon and not a sprint. Therefore we need to stay in shape. Bro. Haki is a deep brotha like me and his words of wisdom can always put the average thinker on the right path. I met the brotha at a poetry gathering and he was an inspiring speaker.
I'm glad you bookmarked my spot because I'm loaded with information that I can share with anyone who is conscious.
@Spirtual One no probs. Will pass your page around to my people. Already received PM's from a couple of people asking me had I checked it. Beat them to the draw long timeniceone.gif.
Met Haki in 1981 as part of the Security delegation to the State of the Race Conference in the US. This is after we had worked out these crackers were coordinating world wide to take us out eg New Cross 13, Atlanata 24 Killings etc using European facists in Germany, France etc as the drivers and coordinators.. But did not spend as much time talking to Haki, as everybody was busy as hell mobilising on a war footing. And what spare time we had was spent talking to secuirty specialists from the US.
But had a sweet heart from his crew. A sister from his network who was here carrying out research and was attached to us for a couple of months. Very very deep and concious and disciplined solidier. She was trying to tempt me to the States..But as tempting as it was..A solidier never leaves his post unless ordered. Damn....confused2.
