I have just checked and their are 60 sites on my 'favourites' thingy.
Now a few of these are what I will call, family sites:
http://www.teachingideas.co.uk/
http://www.nhm.ac.uk/
http://www.digitalhandsworth.org.uk/
http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/
http://www.1901census.nationalarchives.gov.uk/
http://www.1901census.nationalarchives.gov.uk/
Then there are information sites like Train and bus companies, hotel/flight , youth hostel association, Banking, on-line utility sites...There are about 10 of these.
Then there are about 4 message boards sites I use regularly (inc Blacknet)
With the exception of a few I just bookmarked but haven't got back to, the rest are sites that I visit practically daily. And the vast majority provide me with links to other sites I read regularly.
Here are a few of those that I read at least one article a day from (I am a prolific skim reader) Many of which I repost on the various MB's:
http://www.africa2000.com/This one as links to majority of African on-line newspapers...Brilliant site.
http://www.africa2000.com/To be honest I don't visit this site nearly enough, this is because I signed up for e-journals when I first found it, so recieve I think on a weekly basis regular articles with links...recommend people sign up.
http://www.zmag.org/weluser.htmYou all must know by now that this is my favourite site...4years I've been reading it and still not got through all its articles, if you don't go anywhere eles than go here....checkout the WATCH areas.
http://www.ligali.org/You should all by now what this site is about. Maximum respect to Blacknets very own Toyin...we are proud of you Brother....although I know you would prefer we showed how proud through active support

http://allafrica.com/Another good site. One stop place for African news
http://www.oneworld.net/section/currentGood for enviromental news. Generally a European news site.
http://www.globalissues.org/This one is also part of the 'family sites' My kids have used it for school projects...wealth of info I always read it along with this one...
http://www.twnside.org.sg/This is where my interests lie, so read this site regular.
http://southafrica.indymedia.org/A relatively new site, but always read indymedia. This site renews my faith in my peoples ability to fight against oppression and exploitation without the need of leaders....Power to all grassroots organisations.
People really need to be studying events in Azania(SA) She may well be the source of a wind of change in Africa.
Then of course there are the Socialist sites I vist. The goverment sites (US particularly) Places like Labournet,International Review, Chomsky, Pilger, Monibot
Protest.net(good site)ect.
