Listening to Jenny francis last night, and hearing all the dilemmas that were put to her. Some of them she gave good advice, some of them, she didn't know what she was talking about.
Anyway it came to me again, BN villagers have you got any pressing dillemmas that you want sorting, come post them, and lets see if we can solve them.
Perhaps this belongs in the advice forum.

My dad put some money for me in an ISA account (savings acount)
and said
DO NOT SPEND IT
I spent half of it
and started paying back into it bit by bit
guess what
aone year later on he wants to see statment
I am shiting myself
I work part time at my uni
I really do not want to disapoint my dad IF he finds out that I spent half of it
how could I be so stupid
the question is
shall I borrow from my student account and keep quiet
of shall I come clean and face the "disapointed look" for the rest of my life.
seriuosly how could I be stupid, my dad wants to see the statment when he gets back from his business work in 3 weeks.
shitting myself big time

@sooofresh I think your dad will understand, just be honest and tell him you spent the money but will be paying it back.
Alright this is a question i was asked by another friend…
Here it goes…
A friend meet four different guys and she's been out on a date with three of them twice each… separate time of course… this is what she had to say about each one...
Guy no1 is educated, well mannered, but a bit too shy, very reserved but you can smell a very obsessive personality trait… possible future stalker… lol
Guy no2 is physically very beautiful… but too religious (she is christian and he is muslim)
Guy no3 is very outgoing, knows all the good hangouts… but not serious about anything else at all…
Guy no4 is really sweat, educatedbut too lazy… sleeps too much, has the potential to be anything but too comfortable or scared to take chances…
So Ms MBD and anyone else if you were in my friends shoes which one would you choose? And why?
BTW i said none of them...

@Abissinia
I dont even know where to start but why would a woman chase a man in this pond full of men?
I bet the girl is 20 something and you know what they say about them...

No4, he has the potential, all he needs is the love of a good woman

No Coltrane you missing the point...she is not chasing them around…
She meet them, they exchanged numbers, went out on a date…and then found out their good and bad personality traits… and now she is just asking for advice...
I bet the girl is 20 something and you know what they say about them...
Yes she is twenty something…and please do tell, what do they say about them?
@Cashmoney yes he does sound like the better choice out of all the four, she probably needs to meet with him a few more times...
@sooofresh oh i really hate thati am so disappointed look parents give you,my mum does it all the time. There is nothing that can make you feel shame than one look of disappointmet from my mum...

I disagree with CM, A person with ability and no willpower has no potential at all. Someone else cant give you impetus to do anything, if you have no drive then you have nothing.
Many people with little ability and lots of drive can make something of themselves but I dont think the reverse is true. If someone wants to sleep all day leave them to it.

Why don't you borrow the money froma close friendor relativeinstead of your student account; replace the amount that you have spent and full amount will show on the bank statement.

Then give back the money that was lent to you, and continue to pay it back as you were before.
