Personally, I like conversing with blacks from both Canada and England because rarely in America do you find intelligent black people willing to discuss race and politics.
Either you run into some nut or bum on the street ranting and raving about the "white man" who tossed him in jail and poisoned his hamburger....
Or if you find some negro who got lucky on the job and was able to be the first one to integrate his suburban neighborhood and he NOW believes that racism no longer exists.
Here, I hear reasonable and rational people discuss race and modern issues in an intelligent and relatively civilized fashion.
Because the steel is black...the attitude is exact. - Public Enemy

Agree we need dialogue, but we need some sort of common platform to build.Too many times those ism's tend to detract from the common goal. That goal to me is the closing of the wealth gap between the Africa and its children worldwide.

I live in America, and I have to say that this doesn't make sense. That's like saying that the Parent is a fake version of his CHILD.

HOWEVER, I have seen and experienced the fact that "American" culture has found a place in countries all over this planet...the UK included...particularly "Black American" culture, e.g., "Hip Hop".

I have heard some wonderful artists from the UK and wonder why there isn't a more balanced/mutual representation...but that's another topic, possibly.

Ahmaad
Ihave to semi-agree with you.
I mean yes, I get upset with "the white man made me do it" issues that many blacks in the US continue to throw on the table.
However, I still think there are many others that can hold an intelligent conversation regardless of the topic!
