hahahaha, not sure but I think Cane was speaking in the third person when S/he use 'you' in his/her sentence. So it was you meaning everyone, not necessarily you meaning you. hahahaha

No I think God is everything..and the good energy is in everything, it is man who turns away from god and loses that connection..

no God has no reason to be sorry, man caused that to happen..sodom and gomorra created a distructive life that goes against the natural laws of the universe, so the universe got rid of them..

@ Blue.. Positive aspiration. clp)
Though..
To me, it relies too much on an assumption of perfection and supreme control over ultimate outcomes and the way they may inadvertently affect or be perceived by others.
A.K.A arrogance as mentioned by Canerow
I see this lifetime as a NEVER-ending learning experience therefore prefer to see humility as ego-less receptivity. I think we CONSTANTLY learn through challenge, reflection and re-evaluation. Therefore, if I felt I lived it so perfectly there could be no reason to apologise, apart from being far from humble, I may have just stopped reflecting??

This is a good post…but I have to disagree.
I think humility is in understanding that there is something great than you (by “you I don’t mean you personally.) And realizing your limitations. Humility is one of those subjective characterizations and is dependent upon how the views sees another.
There is a fine line between confidence and conciet. I know...I like to walk on it from time to time.
In my way of life (or religion if you will) there are no “mistakes Buddhists believe that everything one does he/she was meant to do. That is not to say one does not regret the consequences of ones actions...thus…an apology may be in order.
Good post however…….I love it when its positive.

I see everyones point...but that is how I live..I think first and I meditate on which route I should take..I let my creator guide me on everything I am faced with in my life...
since realizing this isthe bestway for me to live...usually I find other's having to apologize to me..not saying that I am perfect, but If I stand on "man was created in hisimage" then I act accordingly..Ilet Godmanifest in every aspect of my existance, I don't run from it....
many may not get where I am coming from...
thanks yall for the replies ...keep em coming. clp)

If we were made in the image of the creator, why can we not act like it..I do believe that I have supreme control over ME and my actions, as far asothers, all I can do is lead by example.

Yes I agree somewhat..we learn every second of the day, but what will we do with the lessons that we learn...I use them to be a better person,by not doing anything that causes me or anotherbeingany harm, I try my best not to create any negative energy in the world. I guess we are saying the same stuff just in a different way..niceone.gif

@ bluehoney- you seem to be a very warm person, with a very positive outlook on life, my initial reference was on reflection from child to adult, which we all know has great amount of learning, mirroring, challenges from which there is personal growth, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, which people show through are relationships/interactions with others, strangers, friends, family. It is true that sometimes people get so get caught up\busy with their daily lives, it leaves little time to reflect. That is however what is needed, postive, constant, concious, continuos, reflection, to avoid mistakes as I call it, errors of judgement, which impinge not only on one self, but on others. Therefore to have growth, there is no room, for arrogance and to be able to humble. So i can put up my hands and say yes I make mistakes, but i do try and strive to learn from them. Your aspirations are so positive, that all i can say is RESPECT.
