Hey all,
I'm trying to plan a trip to come to England (Luton and Highwaycombe to be exact) to visit with my uncle and the rest of my cousins. I was going to plan a rush trip to be there for Christmas and New Years, but I was wondering if someone can tell me the best time of year to plan a trip to the U.K.? My last visit to Luton was in 1994 and my cousin tells me there has been a ton load of changes that I have to see!!
So can anyone give me some advice...this is the decision whether I should be packing now or waiting for some warm weather. blkbiggrin
Thanks!!

Warm weather.....blkwonder...hmmmmm. lol
Dont know about Luton or Highwycombe (sorry) but were you planning to visit London on your trip? Luton's under an hour away by train!
I think its worth coming in August though. Apart from the Notting Hill Carnival banana.gif, you would (hopefully) miss the crappiest weather and have less trouble travelling around as a result. If you are interested in historic 'touristy' things then London could be good, plus most of the attractions are very central and easy to get to without a car. Suppose it depends on what you are interested in.
Not sure whether that helps. If I think of anything more I'll be back.

Hey cocoasweet,
Thanks for the advice...it was helpful.
I do plan to stay with my cousin whom lives around London so I'm sure I'll be doing the 'spot the tourist' gig...lol. Just wondering when the Notting Hill carnival usually takes place? Is it towards the end of August? Also, what is the night life like...the last time I was there I did the travel with the parents and I was much younger as well.
Thanks,
Ceejay
