i disagree that wars are not product of capitalism, it is important to have class analysis for every issue,it is like saying AFRICA didnt fuel the industrial revolution and didnt help to build the western nations, many wars were independence wars that you just mentioned, from congo to angola, algeria, wars of liberation,to break the the ties with the colonial regime, the colonial powers hada stake in every african country, portugal, germany, england, holand, belgium,th ey all want to steal and leave the colonies dry and they did so.
king leopold the second and his reign of terror, destroyed villages in congo, mutilated babies in the womb, cut peoples hand, all due to the rubber trade industry that could benefit the belgiums,"the shipment of blackskins across the atlantic ocean was the rosey dawn of capitalism" also marx wrotea letter to lincoln, telling him to put an end on slavery,i will suggest strongly for everybody to read the book ofa great african historian DR ERIC WILLIANS capitalism and slavery! then take it from there,no imperial wars have not been waged just for the purpose of conquest without an economic interest in the region.blkscholarblktypeniceone.gif
