I mean today while getting lunch, my friends and I were chilling at the mall when these thugs (yep thugs) walked by one of them had on a fur coat and the other two had on jogging suits. Why did this white lady run up yelling fur is murder? Then he just looked at her and laughed and kept walking. This guy was a big dude. A sane person would have left it alone.....What does she do? SHe throws soda on his coat.

Only Tyson has knocked someone out/down so fast. As he was hitting her about his coat and calling her all types of names, it hit me, that I have never thought about the fur on animals and wondered if any other black person has either.....

I do not have no special love or sentiments for animals and fur and the whole fur hating industry. If I feel to wear fur I will and if anybody was to come and attack me because of wearing fur when I finish with them they would've wished they were the animal and have a somewhat decent end to their days. I don't have any fur coats but honestly if it was fox fur I say kill of those damn pest bighairlol

I don't care about any animals. I will wear what I want, when I want. Those eeediat people have nothing better to do.

This is slightly off topic but the other day I was shopping at Marble Arch when one of those anti animal testingprotesters started chatting his shit and telling me to sign the petition. The look of shock when I refused was classic. I basically told him that I would much rather they tested my make up, paracetamol on an animal than a person. . . If they did test on people then It would most likely be the poor people in third world countries. He couldn't even argue!

Anyway back to the fur, I love it! I just bought a wicked vintage chinchilla coat last week. If any animal rights fool even tries to fling anything on me I willknit her hair into my next scarf :X

I have 2 cats, however I'm not the high profile fur protector. I mean I could really care less what people wear, especially fur.

I think its well known that the furrier industry is pretty brutal.

Im not wholly opposed to the wearing of fur, because forsome cultures its totally practical,at least when the Eskimos wear fur they are using very last bit of the animal there is no waste.

However in big cities etc,I think fur wearing is very ostentatious and a vulgar display of wealth, its one thing if you are wearing your great-great grandmothers old fur because at the end of the day the animals are already dead, might as well get some use out of it,but to contribute NOW to an industry which is so brutal I think itsunconscionable.Especially when thereare so many UNBELIEVABLY good quality fake-furs out there, why would you want to pay £20,000 for a mink?-just coz you can?well I think there is a higher Karmic price to be paid for that.

DONT JUMP ON THE ANTI FUR BANDWAGON!

I love fur coats...they keep me beautifully warm & help to keep the number of country side pests down i.e. foxes & rabbits.

All the fur haters should concentrate on other more worthy causes i.e. securing full time employment, aiding the tsunami relief effort etc

I care very deeply about the welfare of all animals in whatever feild, whether its for thier fur, vivisection, hunting, farming etc.

What about the gazillion times that drugs have been recalled because they have found that it has this or that bad effect on humans?

As far as the trials in their experiments goes, human beings are the lastto be tested on for the effects of drugs!

What about the many medicinesused by tribes across the world and byAsian people for centuries? Yet just because they have not been tested by some western scientistthey arenot deemed safe! lol!

True to say, how I understand it, scientists here have their hands tied anyway; they are not allowed to peddle anything on the market that has not been tested, usually meaning animal testing.

Wearing real fur is not wrong, its what they have to do to produce it and how that is.

I would consider wearing one if it was not forthe animal rights lobby, they scare me. I would hate for them to throw paint on me whilst out or something.

Also, as abeliever i do question if it is right. In my faithwe aretold to be custodians of the world and to look after the animals. Yes we can eat them but I am not sure if killing foxes unhumanelyfor our pleasureis moral or the right thing to do.

its amazing how sum of these animal rights campaigners carry on...

now animals have more rights than humans.. KMT

will i wear fur...? YES

i have tons of shoes...i wear nothing but soft leather on my feet

sum of the campaigns border on the ridiculous...i just dont get it sumtimes...it is vital that animal testing for drugs goes on.. i'd like to see these ppl refuse medicine when they r dying cos it was tested on a cute little mouse. KMT

its funny how they clam up when u question their violent actions and protests..it doesnt endear them to me, i see them as pests, just like dem stupid foxes...annoyin and kinda creepy...

they always approach me to sign petitions...and i always show them my shoes and bag..without sayin a wrd. BITE ME.

ahhh my rant is over...thats betta...

When people resort to violence its usually because no one is listening.

The media is heavily bias in one direction and without saying it, I bet everyone knows which side.

The animal hunters et al, try to tell us that this is trivial, but tell that to the animals!

It'll be a foolish person whowould not use a drug that has already been tested on animals and has been known to work to help a dying person say. But that is not the point, once the damage is done there is nothing anyone can do. The point is to bringawarenessthat thereare alternatives and people are fighting for that.

We have very weak laws regarding animals and this has got to stop.

hmmm

animal rights fools

hmmmm

they targeted my dad's workplace-no joke got shit and everything-at the oncology department----cancer and those fools want the place closed down for a flippin......

............MONKEY.

There is so much ethics in animal testing that people cannot abuse these animals compared to 10 years ago. Have you noticed when these animal rights people have pictures of bloody animals...have you noticed the picture quality is that of the 80's...

....that is because law and ethics have changed........only in regards for the pharmaceutical industry.

I as an African is the worse person to ask about animals....as far as i am concered we are the most intelligent in the animal kingdon..............Yes even more than dolphins. I used to have 8 dogs in Sudan.........strictly for guarding the house...we feed them raw meat and they snack on burglers.......standard.......when we moved countries ......their is no flippin RSPCA...........my dad shoot them instead.....nicley

yet people think i am a monster and should even not talk to my dad.....for dogs.

I will not wear fur....not because of animal rights..........i just think it looks daft......

especially on men.......

survival of the fittest, if we did not kill them and show animals who is boss, they would'ave evoled and ate us instead

sorry babbling again

LOL
