And as soon as they have managed toobtain the object of theirdesire will they loose interest in it?
A friend of mine once told methat people who gamble do so in order to loose. And we are not justtalking about rich people here.
And how doe this thinking affect us as a collective. White society uses white woman, money andmaterialism in order to promote this ideology of themselves as beingthe ultimate must have item. You only have to look at Mitchael Jackson.
And if you do not have these things, then you are considered an absolutenobody in their eyes. How many of us do you think buy into this way of thinking? Is there any way in which we can work this situation in our favor?
Because once you place a value on something, then most people want it. especially when they know they cannot have it. This is powerful stuff!
Are you feeling lucky? Well are you punk!?

'Most people want what they cannot have, Is this true?'
Sadly I would say yes it is.Many societys have a 'i want more' attitude to just about everything..they work to get what they want then want to get rid of it for the next 'latest' thing, cars,Tvs , homes,relationships..and the greatest saddness of all , is this attitude is being used towards nature and people ! It's a lousy way to live. ,the philosophy needs to change to make sure we have what we need

EXACTLY! You have hit the nail on the head shokran. There is a big difference between what we people want and what people need. And it would appear to me that the needs of the people arealways getting ignored.

Hmmmm
Having what youneed isn't as exciting as having what you want.
If i had to choose between a steamed broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage etc for lunch … or a double chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream… I know which one I’d choose.. and this is coming form someone who don’t really like sweets that much.
Same as buying a pair of jeans from M&S isn’t as exciting as buying a pair of jeans from say Diesel… Don’t ask me whyit's just isn’t… Probably has something to do with someunconscious conditioning to think one is better than the other.

I don't know.........I don't view everything as a race issue, in fact, I view very little things are race issues. I'll leave that up to Muslims and Christians who, while both are children of God, sepearte themsevels as God's children. (yeah I had to get that in).

Having what you need is always better than having what you want...
I don't want for anything, and want is created by the fact that you are unable to utilise the things that you have in your life already...
I might want to have more time... but then I should devise ways to use the time that I have more appropriately...
I might want to have more money... but then I should devise better ways to manage my finances in the here and now...
In other words you can't have what you want, until you want what you have...
Blacknet Book Club coming soon...
