Besides the obvious of driving down wages. Gang violence has surged again..not from blacks but mexicans...Schools are changing their curruculum to spanish only,disenfranchising young black kids. In my city (which is only 5% hispanic but they ALL live in theheart of the city)the hispanics tried and failed plenty of times to change the local community centers to hispanic ONLY establishments.

I do not think that we should not be so hostile toward the Mexican people. We cannot get angry with them for something that BushJR and the rest of the people in Congress decided to do with them. That is who your anger should go to.I will admit one thing about this , I have a problem with his policies because they are not fair to everybody--particulary any Black person from another country who want to make a life for themselves here. Look at What they do to the Haitians whenever they try to come over here for political asylum or whatever. They get sent right back to their country no matter how oppressive Haiti is, but the Cubans, always will have the red carpet rolled out to them because US policies say they are welcomed here. I also have aproblem with how Bush Jr going about letting them in. Their culture IS NOT working for them and it's the reason they are leaving Mexico, India, Iraq, or where-ever to come here and thrive in AMERICAN culture.

Let me preface my comment with this I HATE BUSH JR... and not for the reasons most people hate him for. I dont give two drops of dung about Iraq, don't care about his economic polices because presidents have little impact on how successful I am, and I completely agree with him on social issues, to hell with gay marrage.
