Thats a perfect example of how London has changed Your Ladyship...My Second Best M8...lol.....@ Grammar School moved there in 1968 with his Family as he saw Kennington(where he lived) changing....so he moved to Mayfield Road near Galpins Road,Thornton Heath....All the 50 Times I visited him there to go to Croydon for Rock Concerts or to play Football at the local Parks I never saw a Non-White face....Prime example of the changing face of London.

when whites move out it is typically referred to as WHITE FLIGHT, it happens hear and in the US, the end up having to commute to london lol. What might happen like in new york is the prices in london go up whites will move back because they would realise they have moved so far out , and all those who have government assisyed housing will be moved further out.

That's already happened - check out Brixton, Battersea, Clapham, Hackney et al. A lot of people have been priced out of the market, therefore they're looking at places like Dagenham, New Addington et al to get onto the property ladder.

wow london has so changed, the most black people i would have assumed would be caribbeans runnin tings, within the 80's i assume but now it has changed to africans runnin tings all over london so i here.

one reason i would not move to london is becuase of the diversity, yeah it is still really good to be around a diverse amount of people belive it is am all for it. but london has changed so much that i just dont recognise it the people anyway, its like am on another planet, where did all these people come from. one good thing is that there is more latinsniceone.gifthough am happy bout that, but the turks dem, one turk one guy tried to tell me about roots and vibes. i was like what the hell do u know bout roots.

am from up north, and i dont know the complete facts and figures but the city from where am originated the black population is goin down i think, more and more mixed race and whites, nothin wrong with that though, depened how u look at it.i do believe also that if it wasnt for african immagration to my city then the black population would not be too distincitive, yeah there is nuff black people but just to give a scale of things. a high poroption of asians espeically5 citites close to theM62 belt

the up north city where i go to uni is another story, me and my friends call it mixed race city, if u know the city am talkin bout then big upniceone.gif, cause in this city all u see is mixed race people i swear, then white then black. u harldy see a black couple, its always black man and white woman
