They spend their time in idle luxury sqaundering their husbands wealth on plastic surgery, beauty treatments, shopping and holidaying.

In most marriages both spouses are forced to work to make ends meet, but would prefer a situation which allowed one spouse to remain at home where there are very young children. How is it that what most would consider a very desirable postion to be in: ie, having the option to work or stay at home with young children: is converted into a disadvantage for the woman for the purposes of divorce?

If being left "holding the baby" after divorce leaves women impoverished, the answer is simple: award custody to the man, let the woman pay maintenance and a portion of her earnings for the rest of her life.

Another myth that must be debunked is the notion that it is callous men casting off no longer desired wives. The fact is most divorces (80%) are initiated by women, fully aware that they will almost invariably be awarded custody of children and correspondingy be able to extort a hefty divorce settlement from ex husbands.

All hearings in Family Courts hearings are conducted in secret so it is difficult to obtain iformation about the extent of the bias against men in the system. The pretext for the secrecy is alleged to be for the protection of childrens names and identities.

The No-Fault divorce circumvents any reference to misdconduct on the part of either party. Prior to No-Fault divorce the spouse filing for divorce had to show some wrongdoing on the part of the other spouse, the No-Fault divorce removed this requirement effectively creating unilateral divorce on demand.

This means that groups interested in increasing litigation can make all manner of claim depicting the man as always at fault because no reporting of the activities of the Family Court is allowed. There is no greater an abuse State power in modern society than that which occurs in the Family Courts.
