As for you missing link... think what you asked is some sort of 'big question that i won't answer?' MMMHH! Well, I can and do admit my shortcomings... where I need to... where I feel I must... when i have them... I do have shortcomings... but would you be so kind as to list what you think they are ... ALL OF THEM... GO AHEAD..MAKE MY DAY....since you know me so well (CALISTO PURSES LIPS AND ROLLS EYES) I will gladly tell you some THINGS about me. GO AHEAD, TAKE IT AWAY... NO THIS IN NOT AN INVITATION TO ARGUE, WE WILL SIMPLY MAKE 'EXCHANGES' .

Mr Calisto
Your post is a perfect example of what I described. You make my point more forcefully than I ever could.
LOL!
I'm not going to wade through what you've typed because you clearly have no respect for the written or typed word. You make no attempt to assist the reader. You write as I suspect you think; in an unstructured and disordered way.
Let me make a suggestion. Cut back to making one point per post. Make your sentences no more than two lines long. When you are able to make a clearly indentifiable point, you can move on to paragraphs. Paragraphs break up a body of text and makes it easier to select the specific points one might wish to respond or refer to.
Respect the rules of langauge.
That's why I say intelligent white posters should be encouraged, English is an international language, advanced literacy gives you a head start on the next guy. Having a keen mind does not compensate for poor use of language.
:-)

You wereIMPLYING that admitting my shortcomings is not good enough, not speedy enough, not honest enough. Hence my question: are you so much better when it comes to the ADMITTING (notWHAT you have to admit).

Only you can truly know your shortcomings.Disagreeing/being harshwith someone on the net is not a shortcoming. But I'll humor you and tell you what I think. I think you and a lot of others here have to get past"white supremacy"and tally up everything blacks and whites did to improve our society. The civil rights movement comes to mind. Black churches. Black parochial schools in inner cities. Big Brothers. After school programs. Affirmative action. Laws. That is past or present. So where are your plans for the future?

Laugh... I really don't care... people like you have only 1 aim.... As long as I have said what has to be said and it is online...my work is done. I just type ans save my 'proper and good stuuf' for formal work and occasions. Any lack of ounctuation only reflects the freedom and relaxed environment we are in... only bias and prejudice would make someone think that anyone would dare to write carelessly for sth formal. don't like it...don't read. It is legible, comprehensible, simple and direct. It is there for those that want to read... who are relevant... and whom it concerns... obviously not for the likes of you... as you fail to realise... the only people that focus on 'going by the book', especially in cases, when it does not matter are those who have 'nothing to them', nothing to offer the world in terms of ;individuality'... many a time the ones that improvise and whom are individuals and unafraid to be themselves that come out on top in the obvious ways, andin addition to that ,in other ways that someone like you could never imagine. The door is closed to people like you ... "stunted and mute... deaf and dumb... when it comes to REALITY', CREATIVITY OR ANYTHING ELSE WITH 'LIFE IN IT'.

My plans for future can not all of a sudden be summed up and posted... if we were to talk about 'improving lives for blacks' etc it has to be a joint effort, everyone has to do their bit... especially with regards to their own lives. I have a plan... I like it very much... I won't really go into it in detail... for a few reasons... I would like to contribute to those much less fortunate. Where 'we' are, many of the ideas are there, we already have so much... to put it really basically, you see kids who are supposed to be 'poor' wearing 'Nike,Mosh and Adidas'. I feel my calling is to help those much less fortunate, and whose lives need much more than 'encouragement' . Why exactly did you ask me that question anyway?
