@ blue honey- I am still close to my girlfriends from school we have been friends for twenty one years. I love my friends to death blk2hugand would hate to loose touch. There are plenty of people that I dont see from school and uni but they were people that I didn't really care for anywayblkbuttkick. Do you have a friends reunited web site over there so you can trace some of those people that you have lost touch with ?

I have three friends I have known since nursery school, like 4 years old. We went to the same schools till we were 16 as well. Still some of my best friends. Others Ive known since high school and those still make up the core of my social circle.

I lost touch with all of them. I'd knownmost of them since infant school.
They were all white.
Out of the huge gang that we were, there was only one that I remained aquainted with, for a little while after leaving school, but we soon lost touch becausewe moved.
Since leaving school and really getting tounderstand how white people are, I'd say, its all good.banana.gif
There weren't many black people at my school, but for the few that there were, we all still get along just fine.
Funny that.

One girl from primary school, hardly speak to her though and one girl from secondary school who I'm still tight with. Most of the people from secondary school ain't worth keeping in touch with.

Salaam (Peace) to all...
Once a caterpillar becomes a Butterfly, it can no longer hang out with caterpillars.
Everything must change.

athaba....disappointed in your answer....this thread is about "friends" so when U knew these White Peeps they WERE your friends as you've just said......U moved away and U lost touch and yet all those Whites U referred to were worthy of your friendship were they not?....Of course they were thats why U chose them as your friends.....why do U assume hypothetically that those very same group of friends would not be so now....Is it you (with what U know now) that has changed?.. U WERE happy to have them as friends at that time and it seems as if none of them has done anything themselves to devalue that friendship and yet U say its "all good" you're no longer friends....confused3

...For the same reason that fruit doesn't all fall from the same tree at the same time...just the natural order of things. All the caterpillars are destined to become butterflies...just not at the same time. When it's your time to take on your metamorphosis, you can't put it off to wait for your comrades...lest you miss your chance.

Truth is, for better or worse, things change. Some people we are blessed to walk with for decades...others, for only a few months. Just the way it is. The only thing that is "constant" is your own growth.
