I am very particular about whom i allow into my house...especially since i value my privacy very much.

My dad once said to me that one's house and especially bedroom is a sacred place that should be treated as a temple...something about treating your home as your body....lol

I thought that was a bit too much...until i now that i am older, i find myself meeting some certain friends in bars, restaurants instead of inviting them home for dinner etc......home to me is where one's soul rest....i just find it really hard to invite people home.....someone must have a special place in my heart to be invited as my guest regularly...

So for me physical guests are more dangerous than electromagnetics....i guess...confused2

A physical guest is a person we can asses and judge and be wary of. If they are a stranger they are unlikely to be left alone with our kids but... strangers are left alone with the kids daily, telling them all sorts of things.

With a physical guest you can watch them, with an electromagnetic one... hmmmm they are often underestimated.

I'm a typical Cancerian in as much that my home is my haven. It's where I relax, and I try to ensure it has a peaceful quality (except when me and Hubs are arguing!).

I don't allow just anyone to come into my home, and luckily Hubs is the same.

With regards to Media, I don't really listen to much radio now unless I'm driving, and TV is limited to my son. He's only 5, and there are images that I think are too strong for his mind.Certain channels (Jetix, Trouble & all music video channels being my main bugbears) he is banned from watching.

Like Lady Vee and Dimoke already said, as a cancerian, I value and prize my privacy and my space. I don't even like my own SISTER coming up in my bedroom, never mind every tom, dick and harry! My mum is also very particular about who she allows into our home. She has never bought home more than two friends. My dad on the other hand would let ANYONE in. He even let one guy park his bike in our house (not bicycle either, i am talking about a MOTORBIKE!) I think thats why my mum is so particular now. Go figure, eh...

but i take the point about TV. But hey, at least you can turn off offensiveTV and radio. Guests are harder to get rid of. And they know where you live lol But i agree with Lady Vee that young childresn viewing should be restricted and supervised. My nephew only watches ceebeebies and nick jr.

well I am the opposite, my parents invite everyone and anyone, if they go to Tesco and the checkpout person was friendly they will invite him/her, if the mechanic fixed the car my mum will invite him for tea. I guess their is a risk but we come from a culture of perm FULL HOUSE. I am telling you this 90% i am on blackchat i have atleast one friend/cousin etc with me.

@Breadfruit boy boy boy. Even though very busy have to partake. I have in effect banned 3 people and ALL of them are black women and not kids in fact. ALL of them are older than me and mothers etc. This is why anybody with serious intelligence and education will see that women are at the core of the social mess which black people suffer from. We have far more concious men than we have women.

1. Sister in law banned outright for her own physical safety. Bro some of the things that come out of that "modern" black woman's mouth is shocking and party stopping. Talk about identity crisis. Born back home too and came here a big girl to make it worse. Key instigator and ring leader of all that isdisgusting and nasty. Anything from the television or women's mags straight from the white mind into the black home and loud with it too. You name it she has done it from white men to young boys younger than her two messed up sons.

What is worse thinks she is intelligent but actually like to hear her own voice. Most of my bredrin who are intelligent and learned just and the really educated people in the two sides of the coin, just shake their heads. The woman is a living social experiment which has failed on every account. Age is a number so she thinks she is a young girl when she is ready and any traditional sense of respectability means nish. Will talk about sex or her baby father openly in front of children or someonewho she does not know. She is carrier of social disease as far as I am concerned.

2. My cousin's wife who is social worker and another one who shows educating black women even to a basic level can be the worse thing that could have possibly happened. Anything white and modern she is talking it loudlly, evn though she doesn't have the foggiest what the hell she is talking about and anti man like rass; but can't live without man or she will die. Because no man would want her but nuff women want my cousin. Despite her rhetoric he can't go knowhere without her wanting to be there. She who thought she can have it all looks a state and worn out and put on massive weight. She was a bueatiful woman who has just lost it, since she became "EDUCATED" and my man looks the business and is nice person while she is not, even though she was lovely before.

So it is just talk but dangerous and destructive talk and wants to tell everyone how to live, spreading her posion . But while being miss modern hertwo daughters were not beiing mothered and ended up singleparentsand worse welfarefeminists because they have their mothers rhetoric. I have predicted one of themis going toend up in hospital the day she meets that 5-8 percent of really violent men.

Her babyfather already punched her in theface but he is a weak heart boy. More to come. 3. One of my wife's old time friends who from the first time I met her I thought this woman is a head case and what shcoked me my wife who is the world expert on everything name woman could not see iwhat a blind man could see.It is in your face that this sister had serious issues.

Another one same mode but not feisty like the rest and very respectful to me at least. But when you hear the shit that woman talks and she is a mother of three children all of whom are twisted badly. Talk about anger issues but they choose soft men because other men will kill them straight. Her son committed suicide on her birthday, because rather than raise her children she prefer to be chairwoman of the wotless black women possie and run man and evolve new philophy straight from Footballers Wife, East Enders and Cosmopolitainl Magazine. Eg she is not the marrying type, but she is the breeding type though and talks that shit in front of her daughter who dropped out of uni and breed off some wotless boy which she and her "man" raising in effect while my girl rides around in sports car, which they bought her and raving like raas. She is a material parent eg look what I can buy my daughter and the father is a "fenky fenky" brother of the same mind.

Fortunately I did not have to ban that one. When I dealt with sister in law she kinda took the message, as they are all possie and neighbours for the longest. She will come here to pick up wife and phone and stay in the car.. But talks to me extremly nice and her nickname for me is "handsome". No she fears me like ****.

Those kind of women can fight their baby fathers and draw knife on them and go on with the crazy black woman routine. Because these tend to be decent guys, who were unfortuante to meet these crazy women hiding behind nice girl profile. But she and sister in law know I will beat them to once inch of their lilves and have no fear of police. So she stays outside my house, but always want me in her home but I don't because of respect to the man who owns the house who she loves to diss in front of her friends.

I have never ever had to ban any man in my yard. Simply men, tend to know how men flex and know the type of man in front of them. And I have friends who range from academics to gun man or cousins who did 20 plusyear stretches and dons of this area who men don't mess with. But man respct man and their yards and their rules. Moreoverthings like Footballers Wives, Cornation Street and that trash is woman' s stuff not men. Men do not take that shit on and drag it into big discussion in your yard etc where your children are generally.

So men self regulate, while too many women need regulating.

@BP too right bro. The way I check is this the enemy is over running us in public space and it there is one place we control and control proper with no compromiise or appologies is our yards. My yard is not the camp of the enemy and only the righteous can enter. Anybody involved in anything untoward or I suspect ANYTHING. Not in my home.

Next thing you know your distant crack head cousin comes and wants to pay you a visit. No sah...I almost ended up stabbing a brother who we grew up with who went mentally funny.Can't take the pressure them kind of guys who seem hard but inside soft and weak.Come from same country and our parents are tight. We were all outside talking etc and my man asked to use the toilet. In a second he went in the room and took the sound money which was in the front room. When I went in there and see the money had gone within a flash I worked out what had happened and got my tools [my "big boma"]. This was one tough brother and much older than us and I ran down the road and caught him.

I told him he had 3 seconds to give me the money or I would cut his heart out. As I reached the count of 2 he gave me the money.

@Breadfruit. Televison operates on the subconcious level and affects fantasy and desire very deeplly and profoundly. Look for example at the impact of Hollwyood movies on the bad man culture of JA and all the nicknames those brothers take up eg Dirty Harry, Johny Ringo, Billy the Kid and I can go on all day. They take that shit on seriously and it becomes part of their alter egos. Now these are crude examples, but it applies across the board. A child exposed to MTV naked women, 50 cent or East Enders or that stuff is being worked on on the subconcious level. They simply do not walk away unaffected especially if young.

That is why there grown ups who actually confuse fantasy an
