Ladies & Gentlemen: Your attention, please!

My name is Earle 'Earlybird' Smith andI am in the process of finishing off a fantastic book entitled, MEN ONLY: The Poor Sod's Guide to looking after Babies and Toddlers. It will be an autobiography of sorts when it comes to being a babyfather or a better babyfather than you are now, or ever will be.

Through this book I intend to show men (& women) everywhere that if they follow my specificguidelines to looking after a child while keeping their other 1/2 sweet, then they will turn out to be a great babyfather. In the meantime, Ineed to know from guys out there:

1. Why do you hate wearing condoms so much?

2. Why do you see it necessary to go from one woman to the next?

3. Can a man stay committed to just ONE woman?

4. How much of a role in the relationship do you expect to take as the babyfather?

And for the women:

1. What do you expect from your man as the babyfather to your child?

2. How much role in the relationship (whether he is there or not) do you expect to give your man as the babyfather?

3. Why areyouso easily lead (or is it fooled?) into thinking he loves you when it comes to one man, one woman relationships?

4. Just how good a babyfather is your man? (if there is one). Can he do better?

Please let me know what you honestly think about babyfathers, especially your babyfather, andI will address the issue in my forthcoming book more than anything else. Believe me,I intend to blow the lid on the whole fiasco thing concerning babyfathers. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, amen! Later!!If you've got something to say (and you know you do?) text me on 07749289095 or at earlesmith@hotmail.co.uk. Remember? TheTRUTH IS OUT THERE.

@Why are your writing this book and what authority do you rely on to justify the claims you make?

@ Fred,

I didn't even bother to reply to this simply because it seems of the "Trouble with Black Men" ilk.

@ Earlybird,

Why don't you post the same questions on a White site, as I'm sure you're aware it's not only Black women who are "baby mothers"?

Here is a standard to beat with your fantastic book:

http://www.thirdworldpressinc.com/Pr...etail.asp?ID=7

I read it. My complaint about it is the book list. 349 books classified by Black and non-Black authors. Only 1 book relating to economics, Dempsey Travis on real estate, no books on technology. At one book per week that is almost seven years of reading he should have set some kind of priorities to the list. Read for five years to get to the most important book. Makes no sense.

What justification and what authority do i have to write such a book. Well, let's put it this way? One great man once said, "All it takes is for good men to do nothing!" I have every right as a blackbabyfather who does not want to see his son grow up in a biased world where every generation of black man is stereotyped for just sleeping around and accumulating as many children as humanly possible, and having a lack of committment to one woman at any one time. If you have any children, relatives or friends with male offspring, you should be praying that they do not end up livingin a bigoted society like our male forefathers had to endure? I have every right as a black babyfather to defend and speak up for my child until they are old enoguh to realise that something is wrong in a world where white is right, but black is jack! I write this bookas a confident blackman who refuses to let my son grow up in a world where he will become a second class citizen, based on the fact that he is not allowed to speak up for himself because his skin is a different colour.

The claims and guidelines (white men included)i makefor better babyfathersof babies and toddlers are justified by the fact that i have lived with the ONE woman for some time, even through the hard times when i could easilyhave thrown in the towel and found someone else. I stuck to my responsibilities and committment as the child's father because i believe that there are black men out there, such as myself, who are genuine in all that they say and do when it comes to staying as a family unit without ever once straying. So saying, even if the man is not present, what is stopping him from beinga good babyfather? That is the authority i take on. I refuse to be sereotyped by a 'large chip onbothshoulders media' as just another estranged black good for nothing two-timing back-stabbingbabyfather. I justify everything i do for my family in this book through practical experience and practical living. Does that answer your question(s)? If it does not, then maybe you should look at things from a black man's perspective while not being so angry with the rest of society. Black babyfather have a hell of a lot to offer. Just give them a chance to prove it.

Earlybird,

I take issue with your questions. I find them insulting.

If you are a "babyfada", wouldn't you be angry at being asked:

1. Why do you hate wearing condoms so much?

2. Why do you see it necessary to go from one woman to the next?

3. Can a man stay committed to just ONE woman?

You see, I find these questions stereotypical and they feed the media hype about Black men being wotless.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these sort of questions wouldn't be asked in a White forum.

In a white forum!

If you ever took the time to listen to white people, especially the women's complaints against their men, you would soon realise that theyhave it just as bad as we do. If you live in a society where your race is in the minority, then you must expect persecution from the majority. I am a bf and i am not angry at being asked such questions. Ignorance is bliss. Why should i get mad with people who only ask such questions because they don't know any better? I ask these questions because i want to hear from otherblack men and not from what i read in the papers. Furthermore, the 'wotless' black man helps to feed the media hype by not being brave enough to stand up for whathe believes in. I stand up for what i believe in, only for my own people to knock me down again. Is it any wonder why black mens' lives are in such disarray? If we cannot find the time to fight for each instead of against each other, we will always be seen as a minority.

Every race as its own terminology or way of speaking. Being so unique, and because we don't speak like everybody else. Who do you think is going to get picked on when the time comes to pick on somebody?

1. a majority of black men-as well as white-don't like wearing condoms because they are uncomfortable, some are afraid of becoming BFs, some are allergic to the latex (believe it or not), some just can't be bothered with the whole'wearing a condom all the time thing'and for others it can restrict the flow of enjoyment.

2. men go from one woman to the next because that is what they were taught to do by their forefathers. If no one sets the right example, what do you expect them to do?

3. yes, a man can stay committed to one woman. Period! As long as he stops thinking with his dick and starts to think with his heart and mind, what do you think?
