RACE ON TV]

The Black and White Minstrels, Mind Your Language, Till Death Us Do Part, …. For many years it was programmes like this which taught white people about minority ethnic people, and which taught minority ethnic people where they stood.

Have you been affected by the way that television in Britain has covered the subject of race?

Maybe you’ve felt that TV’s portrayal of black & asian people has had a big impact on your life – for either good or bad reasons.
