Driven out? when your white pal "drove out" the locals, they didnt have BA on standby to whisk them away.. their blood soaked the ground on which your friend prospered.

blktypeI was about to give you a balanced critique on Mugabe until you mentioned your white friend being driven out.

His forefathers did the sin, and the curse of it is raining down on him now. I lived in Zimbabwe for 2 years in the early 90's and was shocked at how the white people who weren't officially in power still benefited off the Zimbabweans back, were racist and resisted intergration.

Working fora farmer was just the worst because they paid you a pittance, worked you to the bone, raining slaps onlabourerswhen they deemed necessary for some offenceand fired them at the drop of a hat. Many Zimbabwean farm workers lost their jobs then whilst the farmers got wealthier and too sure of themselves on land that wasn't theirs. So you see, they are not in such a worse of situation now than they were then.

Tony Benn on tonights Question Time (BBC1) reminded British people to remember the huge negative part they played in Zimbabwes' problems and stirring thewrath of Mugabe against the white oppressors. He is mad, but there's some method in his madness.

My only problem is that ordinary Zimbabweans have to keep suffering all the time. As for your friend who gives a sh**t!!!:P
