Ur gunna have obstacles in your way, no matter what path of life you decide to take, and u gotta stay strong and face it head on. Your efforts will pay off, what goes around comes around, so when ur successful doin what u wanna do, that fool who turned u down cuz of ur race will wish he employed uniceone.gif

Also, does anyone understand why we have to put what race or nationality we are when applying for a job or writing a CV? I think this is out of order. They don't need to know, because it shouldn't make a difference. I never fill that out, causeI think it's unecessary. I want them to judge me for my capabilities rather than my skin colour.

Your going to find that white's will use Asian's to do the things they can't be seen to do, like discriminate. Asian's share the same passion as white's in their hatred for black people. However because they are a minority group, white people use them to do what I call their dirty work.. In interviews I have seen this time and time again. To the extent that I have been in interviews where the white guy interviewing seemed more willing to offer the job, than the Asian manager that then entered the room and turned the whole interview around.

However like I said, keep trying..

So they are, bro. So they are. Thankfully I've never been interviewed by an Asian and have never had them involved in the decision making process. Let them stay thinking they're better than us and that their current economic and socialstatus is reason to for them to take on the role as oppresor. In this current climate we're presently in, when it all hits the fan and white people turn on them, I just hope we have the sense to turn our backs when they come crying to us with their "we're all in the same boat" bs like they did when they had their riots a few years ago.

The good thing is that more of us our developing the entrepreneurial spirit and starting our own businesses. However, we need to think a lot bigger than bakeries and record shops.And we need to make sure that what we have is blackowned and doesn't have Mr Patel right at the top calling the shots. We can't have a P... I mean, Asian head on an African body.There will come a time were WE will do the hiring and firing. It's just a matter of when.

Seriously though, if you think you were mistreated is there an avenue for complaint. If the other interviews were significantly longer then you may have grounds to take it further...if they already knew who they wanted then they were obviously wasting your time.
