I just wondering whould you get married in these days and times? cause i fear putting a ring on a womans finger, i don't think i'll ever marry cause of fears of being cheated on,
Also why i ask because these day and age females are to materialistic and men are just not satisfied with just one woman,
well i'd love to hear your comments on this subject

HELL YEAH!!!!
You lot got time making fear dictate what you will and wont do.
you COULD get knocked over by a bus at any time, but i sure it does not stop you leaving your house!!
Not being married does not mean you wont get cheated on.
If your girl is too material i am sure it wouldnt take you too long to suss out before you walk down the aisle.
Getting good things takes a risk, and that is what we do everyday in more ways than one, take risks. Not everything will be planned out and guaranteed for you beforehand. Just use your judgement to the best of your capability and let God do the rest.

@ genaralf and Shiftin Shadow
Well given your abject fear of being cheated on and your total lack of trust in the opposite sex there is no question that marriage is not for you.
In fact having a relationship should be out the question altogether because the things you fear are not just an issue within marriage but with any romantic involvement.
I wish you well in a long, happy and fulfilling relationship with.....errr.........yourself.
Respect
There are those who feel that the only way to ‘prove their own worth’ is by ‘devaluing the worth of others’. You will often find that a man who is compelled to measure his substance against the substance of another, has little of substance in the first place!

Speaking from experience....marriage is NOT easy. It's hard work that takes two.Me and my wife got married at an age when most people don't even begin tothink about tying the knot. Believe me, when I was talking of marriage people thought I was crazy.
It's only been a few years and we're still young but I personally wouldn't recommend anyone to get married too early. It's better to tie the knot when the both of you are a bit older and wiser.
Maybe it would have beenbetterhad we waited a few more years, but overall it's been a very fulfilling union. It could have been disastrous had we both not put a strong emphasis on communication and mutual respect from day one way before we even spoke about jumping the broomstick. But I knew straight away there was something special in her that I wanted in my life....something that I never experienced with my previous girlfriends.
So yeah, marriage is good. Just don't rush into it is my advice.

Marraige like anything is what you make it. The only risk with it, is that it takes two to make it work, so if one aint pulling their weight, then it can be a real struggle, if not a complete breakdown.
But a lot of things carry risk like iyallah said, you can't run your life by the what ifs, so just bite the bullet and go for it.
Since youhave got thoughtslike that though, then maybe itsjust not your time.

Awww how can you write Coltrane off? I said way stronger things than he has on such issuesconfused3 Give a brother a chance lol... did you see what he was busy dedicating to dimoke? hmmm
@ Athaba
I don't think marriage is out of fashion at all. Im relatively young but have married friends and most others are going to be married soon, the rest are at least looking to be...
How people maintain their marriages is a lost art lol but actually getting married... hmm it's still good business for the chapels at the moment

@ Generalf,
If you're going into marriage with that sort of attitude of course it will fail.
Marriage, as with all intimate relationships, is a compromise. You'd never get on 100% of the time. The trick is to not get too bogged down in petty arguments.
If you meet a woman whom you suspect is a gold-digger, why marry her in the first place? You must trust your instincts on such matters.
@ DM,
With all the flirting you and Timeline are doing in the "songs" thread, I think wedding bells a-ringing for you two...
Dum......dum....dum dum...
