Can someone please tell me how David Blaine does his levitation trick? It is something that has amazed me for ages. I've just seen David Copperfield do something similar where he actually flew over the audience and then someone even put a hoop around to say that no cables are attached to him, quite simply how is it done?

DrunkMonkey how do you that? is that your personal view or something that you have read or seen from a reputable source.
I've seen interviews with magicians from the magic cicle saying that David Copperfields trick is the best that they've ever seen. They said that he actually floated over their heads and passed by them.

Im just playing Liono... I don't know. Only DB and other people in Magic circle know for definate. The rest of us can think of the most likely ways he could have done it.
Ill wait for Penn and Teller to explain it all to me. Id like to go to a live magic show, I have a childish fascination with such things. Those dudes who pull all the pigeons out of hats amaze me.

I read in the Bible about some guy who would perform the same trick and then a man of GOD saw him doing the trick who's name I cannot remember I think it was one of Jesus's desciples. The man of GOD saw that the man who was levitating was being held up by two demons (Jinns) the man of God utterd the name of Jesus to the demons and they dropped the man.

Is it possible that these magicians could be using some more than deceptive magic?

Maybe a way to find out is talk to someone who has been to a Blaine or Copperfield show that wasnt seen on TV. If they didnt do the same tricks as on the ones on television then that might be your proof that graphics and television audience are a big part.
