Coltrane
So would a country's 'Uncle-Tom ness' be a reflection of its leaders, its population or what? Does the fact that I live in an 'Uncle Tom' country make me an Uncle Tom? How exactly doesthis categorisationwork?
Just asking because I want to understand the value ofknowing which countries are Uncle Toms. Is this a knowledge I can apply to some practicle purpose? I mean it is invaluable for me to know that my neighbour is a homicidal manaichoarding an arsenal of automatic firearms. By the same token does it serveme just as well to know that a particular country is an 'Uncle Tom'?
Respect
There are those who feel that the only way to ‘prove their own worth’ is by ‘devaluing the worth of others’. You will often find that a man who is compelled to measure his substance against the substance of another, has little of substance in the first place!

BS
I didnt classify earlier
I ment countries that are so proud of their former colonial masters..I mentioned Kenya because its one of those countries that people have been made to feel proud about being close to Brits..they gave the british settlers fertile lands and there is a decree that no one is allowed to ask about that land
Furthermore? Their parliments are same like the House of commons (inside), the way they drive and some still have colonial relics in their capitals.. and most of the roads are named after colonial generals and same applies to buldings that are named after people like Turnbull
..some have even their own TRAFALGAR SQUARE!
Its both govt and people mentality

Angola....Everyone in that country always claims to have a Portuguese Grand Father or Mother.....
Ivory Coast.....i just hope that the civil war will teach those imbeciles that the French are not your friends...
Tanzania, well this country used to be the IT factor for many Africans.....most socialist dissidents ended up there whilst they fought the dictactors.....but over the years the country has become too busy accommodating their Arab masters.....
Both Congos.....Brazzaville Congolese are just French ass kissers....they even put Kenyans to shame when it comes to sucking up to their whitey masters......DR Congolese are not sellout per se....i think its more mis-education than anything.....
Kenyans, South Africans, and Zimbabwe are fine, its their women and their love of white dicks that messes this countries' image.......i have never seen black women who loves ugly, bald, middle aged white men like the women from this countries......its just gross
But i think the crown should go to the Little known Mauritiaus(SP)......if you can get a Mauritian that calls themselves African, i would not believe you to save my life!

The term is co-opted from its origninal meaning, as a Blackman of great integrity, courage, and fortitude.
Josiah Henson, the model for Uncle Tom, was a minister in the African Methodist Episcopal church who, with his wife and four children, escaped from slavery in 1830, and spent six weeks on a journey to freedom in Canada.
Amid a thick grove of black walnut trees, Henson created the Dawn Settlement, a northern refuge for free slaves. In its heyday of the early 1850s, Dawn was home to 500 free black families. Henson also helped found the British American Institute, North America's first manual training school, which included a rope factory, brickyard, sawmill, grain mill, and a blacksmith shop. Since many free blacks only knew about harvesting tobacco and cotton, Henson yearned to teach them a variety of other farming methods and skills.
"Josiah Henson was a man of integrity and fortitude," says Barbara Carter, his great-great-granddaughter and a resident of Dresden.
Today, visitors and genealogists attempting to retrace their roots are heading to the historic site known as Uncle Tom's Cabin, about a 1-1/2-hour drive north of Detroit. The two-story clapboard house, constructed of cedar and tulipwood, was, by the standards of its day, considered substantial.
