Man...... I guess this is sort of a vent for me. I grew up in a Homophobic culture like I assume or read that most Black Cultures are. Over the years rather than being reactionary around gay guys I'm cooler than peppermint. I've learned to accept that some folks inner programming is different, buggy, faulty or whatever. I'm just a bit perturbed at the fact that a man would walk around wanting to be, behave like and be a woman. If a guy is attracted to men...more power to him but why all the lisping and flamboyance???

I saw this kid who lived a "Normal existence" had a kid a beautiful girl and everything. I suppose he was living a lie and decided to date men.... To each his own but if this dude walked around for 24 yrs in a male gender role why he gotta start lisping and doing all sorts of other weird shyt cause he's sleeping with men? Is it like part of some gay initiation? do you get kicked in the scrotum so that you get a nasal speaking voice? do they cut the tonge to that you lisp? Are you a card carrying member who has to wear Versace after your initiation into that life?

I don't get it......This stupid white guy who "experimented during high school called the Lisp his Gay accent. WTF? Ofcourse him being at a largely Black/Hispanic high school regarded him as a white attention seeker and largely ignored him but WTF? I'm befuddled as to this Gay accent shyt, the sudden Gender confusion and so forth. Why can't a Man who prefers a man continue to be a man while being gay? Or women for that matter. i met a girl recently who tried to pass as a guy, a really stupid guy at that! Is this Unique to the USA or is this common in the caribbean, Africa and the UK?

I guess it's their way of acting feminine.

Just like the slack walk and the limp wrist, they are trying to distinguish themselves from other men.

But I also see it more as a form of "escapism".

You see this mostly in communities where the characteristics of manhood are grossly exggerated and men are expected to be ruthless and violent.

I believe that much of the drama and acting you find being exhibited by so-called homosexual men in the West are their way of telling the world they've given up on manhood and the responsibilities of being a man.

It's their way of saying:

"Look at me, I'm no longer a threat....no longer in competition so don't expect any masculine responsibilites from me."

It's a defense mechanism to avoid having to be aggressive and fight in this society.

You're gona see it increase in the comming years because of how weak a lot of men have become in the face of a more complicated, violent, and stressful society.

How about, not all gay men have a lisp?

Let's wager, that most gay men don't have a lisp.

And that the ones to do, are trying to be part of a paticular facet of gay culture.

Why the assumption that I'm gay? Defending gays is no indicator of homosexuality. I'm just a rather comfortably straight guy who would much rather be spending time with his girlfriend, but can't do to a number of circumstances. I just happens to have a few good friends, who happen to be gay. And who well, don't have a lisp at all. And don't display any of the stereotypically gay characteristics.
