No. I can only remember that I used to by shy, kinf of fat, acted like I was a boy and wasnt the most atrective one. Now Im not shy anymore, thin, I dress like a female, and as bitchy as it might sound, I find myself arective. Just to put it down. I used to have a small group of friends, now I have one best friend, and a lot of other friends =)

So if your shy, ugly, fat, lonely.. it'll change soon or later. But bad things can happen to haha, people used to trust me.. but Im not sure if they do now..

The only definate memories I have of those early years is a McDonalds birthday party and the first time I saw victoria falls.

Most of the other "memories" come from what people have told me in the intervening years about those early years. Studying photos and so on. I believe it's largely made up by my own subconcious. I certainly can't remember much from those early years that was not reinforced in some way by stories my mum told me, or my dad, uncles, reminiscing older cousins etc.

I also suspect a lot of that comes from me looking at other tots through my older eyes and imagining their perspective. All without direct knowledge of what Im doing. Therefore any notion of me being innnocent or trusting or peaceful is not completely reliable. I look at peaceful kids and suppose I must have been one.

I look at the pictures and see happy smiley faces so I must assume I was a happy kid but do I actually remember it or infer it? I can "remember" things but then I not that I "remember" them exactly as the were told to me afterward.

Im certainly overtrusting and peaceful now at any rate, my mother insists it was always so, so maybe confused3

@BM I can't temember much but what I have heard from my mother and father and aunts etc have filled in that detail. I do remember being very very intellectuallly inquistive and getting a nasty electiric shock that kinda put me strraight. But I can also remember which my parents and family say all the time I was a very caring and loving and sharing chilkd and gentle and would give anybody any thing and go without. That I am not at all and not gentle as you realise not all outside your tribe are like youa and likely to take serious liberties.

But having said that I don't think much of your personal character changes. Some experiences may say to you it is simply dumb being the way you are but that is around the edges.

As a child you look at a peron's facial expressions and know exactly how they feel and how they feel towards you. Alot of people abandon these skills as they get olderwith me it seems to have remained and has got stronger (it's all in the mouth shape and the eyes which is why people chew tooth picks or shades to hide it).

I am just trying to conjure up what a cynical 7 year old would look like or the expression on their face. Older beyond their years me think.

i was shy around new people and didn't trust very many. you had to earn my trust. i can still be shy but not as much but still let very few people close to me. you're lucky to become my friend!

i was eager to please people. i still have a touch of that in me but i know my happiness is just as important as everyone elses. i don't bend over backwards to make others happy espcially if they are not important figures in my life.

i was always in my own little world. i still am but i have alot of questions now and i pay attention to whats going on in that actual world i'm living in.

My memory doesn't go back to a particular age but:

I was a happy child although I wouldn't use the word happy to describe me but not far from I guess

I was more trusting (maybe) to others whereas I am now cautious & untrusting of a lot.

I was and still am blunt/honest.

I was more giving this has changed as it depends on the person / situationI'm dealing with
