There is no black people list, the closest your going to get to something like that is Forbes.com.

I'm trying to find out what you said was wrong also.....Gates is worth $40bn and Winfrey is said to worth $1bn, its the same as waking up one morning and finding out you have £4,000 instead of £150,000.... I would cry to.

The black millionaires are incorparated with the rest of the countries millionaire list (if you earn less than £40m you're not on it), I see no problem with this.......The need to have a black separate list because there is an asian list is stupid, asians are not asintergrated into the society as you/we are, like it or not it's a fact.

This comes as a suprise to me.

From most of the people I know who've been over to England, they tell me that Black people have a muchhigher standard of living than Asians.

I heard that it wasthe Asians from India and Pakistan who were mostly the drug-dealers, slum dwellers, and gang memebers.

But on this site I hear and entirely different story.

The truth is both.

Asians are some of the wealthiest and well-to-do people in UK and also some of the worse off too.

They have a particular problem with heroin and it is growing rapidly.

I could divide it along national lines and say the Bangladeshis are the worst off and the Indians the most well off but that is simplistic. The Pakistanis occupy both groups and so do the Sri Lankans. Their community is no more united than ours. With Hindis, Sikhs, Muslims all making up their numbers and different nationalities and languages too. They congregate in areas and gang fight each other and yes drugs play a massive part.

But you can't deny that some of them are quite wealthy. They run more of the businesses and even the ones we should be running and are like a cartel of nepotism you can't mess with.

As for a black rich list... well as JB said in the USA maybe but here we too busy working for other peoples companies and building them up. Maybe in a few years. Or maybe we simply don't boast as much and get up our own arses like the asiansdo lol? Im sure Lennox got enough to be going on with...

Alright, what I heard was that Blacks in England were living quite WEALTHY....but not necessarily rich.

Infact, somebody told me that nobody was able to GET rich in Europe, they had to be BORN rich into a rich family because the class system was so tight overthere.


But I figured the Bengladeshis and Sri Lankans would be the worst off seeing as how they're often the poorest and the darkest.

In Michigan there is a large Bengladesh community and I was suprised to go back and see that they've formed gangs there also.

It's a shock to see Asian gangs in America, especially the Midwest.

Most of the gangs here are Black and Latino who come from poor raggedy neighborhoods and most of the Asians in America are quite wealthy.

Well you get some who are obviously. Some people are doing well and do manage to get wealth. Yes the class system is strong over here but I wouldn't go as far as what you said. You don't need to be born into money though obviously it helps incredibly! The middle class itself has grown so much that it needs further stratification in order to make sense. There are quite a few upper middle class black people.

For the vast majority though it's an altogether different story. I would say that relatively we are the least well off and that looking at education and employment figures you can't play with that.

Over here the poorest raggedy neighbourhoods as you call em have all colours, black white and asian in large numbers. In one city like London you can go to Kidbrooke and see broke white people doing all sorts, Stepney and see asians on the same thing or Clapton and see it with blacks.

Again alltogether given our small blackpopulation and as a proportion of our total numbers Id not say we were wealthy at all. No way.
