If you are dedicated and determined as a Black it really shouldn't matter where you are born. If you are determined you can be successful in Haiti, Albania or Somalia. It all comes down to how much Character you have. But being born in the USA or UK does offer some advantages but just being born in these places does not guarantee success. In the USA every week I stroll around my town I see people and am reminded of this.

First of all I'd like to thank God I'm the man I am today.

But if I had a choice I'd rather have been born in Britain.

I probably would have had a better education, more connections, and my entire personality and demeanor probably wouldn't be as hostile and aggressive.

The only draw-back about being born in England is my teeth wouldn't be as nice as they are.

Teeth look like they been eating butter and cheese whizz sandwiches all day.

I haven't seen a lot of Black Brits with yellow teeth but damn near all the ones I meet still have that gap between their front teeth....lol.

Every smile looks like the Pillars of Hercules!

I can definitely see why in particular when white people hear a British accent coming out of a black persons mouththey are in awe struck.

They think all black people in this country speak in slang. They act that way whenever a black person is articulate.

Personally, I am proud to be American and I love my country. Although I must admit I have been very impressed with the political and socialawareness of the few black Brits I have met. As well as some threadsI've readon this site.

It's really a shame when I look at people I have known for 20 years who could care less about politics or reading a book on finance.

As a matter of fact one of my good friends told me just three weeks ago that I was anold white man because of my interests confused3. I'm not old or white.

I think that's one of the biggest cultural differences between you all and us.You allaren't so caught up in pop culture as much as we are. I think we could learn alot from you.
