I just saw this really grimy Think! advert where they shw a camera phone video of a couple of youngers playing about which ends in one going into the road and getting knocked down

To be honest all the Think! adverts have the desired effect on me, but this one realness really hit home

Kudos to whoeevr made it

Anyways,

1.what adverts do the villagers find to be effective, as in, makes you think or would make you go out and buy the said product

2. Have you ever bought something solely on the back of adverts

Any replies will be appreciated

I agree with you about the Think! adverts...all of them make me shudder.

I buy household products on the strength of advertising....you know "kills all known germs - dead", that sort of thing.

My son made me laugh the other day. He was trying to convince me to buy some new cereal that he's seen advertised. I said no, because it's full of sugar and salt, to which he said "no, only 1 teaspoon per bowl"! Do you know he was absolutely correct - but I still won't buy it.

Foodstuffs advertised don't make me buy them - I buy food I've grown up with.

Those think! adverts are definately grimy

The one with that white girl talking about how she won a dream trip to LA nad was showing us around her mansion, only for it to cut to her getting knocked down. brilliant

Also, the oine wth that black/mixed raced guy playign an action area in some film, for them to cut and sya he was ran over at such and such a date. brilliant

Its definately made me more road conscious, in saying that i early knocked down 3 knuvkleheads who for all intents ad purposes might as well have been playing chicken

The specsavers adverts are good. They got my service on the back of one advert about reaction lenses

NUTS adverts made me go out and buy it although I have stopped now
