Recently I discovered that a friends bfriend had hit her. I was shocked and I knowit sounds like a cliche but'he didnt seem the type.' I also found out that he hither after finding out that she had kissed another man on holiday.
So........
Is there ever such a thing as a one off anddoes everyone deserve a second chance?
What can make a man hit a woman?
If a woman hits back.......is she still avictim?
I would be interested in both male and female feedback and from anyone who has gone too far and hit their partner.

It may have started as a one-off, or happened in the face of extreme provocation, but that doesn't make it right, nor does it mean it wouldn't happen again.
I also believe that once it's happened, it makes it easier for it to recur.

Damn! If she kissed another man I would give her the peace sign and start fresh elsewhere. No need to put hands on people. It only takes one time to make it a habit. No second chance here for either! Even if she hit back....she was physically attacked first so it was self defense. Even though she fukked up she is still the victim in the physical sense.
