The idea of black Americans leaving America is preposterous. why should they? They have beeninamericafor generations and have just as much rights to remainin the USthan any other person- if not more. Their ancestors built the country.

Instead of leaving the country to other foreigners to reap the benefits of the work their ancestors were FORCED to do- they should remain and fight for their rights and become successful. Instead of telling black americans to leave why not advise themto promote self-worth, education, enterprise, supporting black owned businesses, increasing positive media outlets that promote success (not the stereotypical music videos on BET which allow blackamerican women to look likeworthless fools and the men tolook like ignorant worthless thugs and hoodlums.)

Repatriation to Africa is a foolish idea. Can you think of white people in the USA thinking of repatriating back to Europe?

The only way for black people to survive and succeed as a race is for the populations to be spread across the globe. With what is going on in many parts of Africa these days, if all black people in America and the Caribbean were to go back- I shudder to think what could happen to the black race if genocide was on the white man's agenda. a. we are very sceptical people and do not trust to easily therefore would never broadcaste our plans on the internet

b. alot of comments that you have read over the last week is in direct response to all the previous comments we heard on this forum from African American who did place themselves higher than African on the continent and abroad.

c. such even gloated that blacks in america will never be treated or resort to the same behaviour as africans on the continent.

Thats why we arrived at that stage

Now the initial question you asked is about leaving America

Well lets not sugar coat this and look at it in simple terms.



If someone can up to me and said Jeeese Maffy look what happened I can not take this again I will simply say

If you do not like what is going on your either

1. get up and leave if you feel you do not have the power mind or heart to do something about it

2. stay and fight will all your power heart and mind to ensure it never happens again

3. convience yourself it didn't happen and continue to salute your govt when he next hits a state near you.

Btw its not such an alien thought major people leaves a country after a major disaster and never return.

The poor were effected and the poor will have to consider the following how do I make sure I am never a victim of this again they need to fight from within because they have no means to leave in their current situation

You keep harping on Jamaica and actually Judge Dredd touched on something that should not be dismissed. Many uk blacks have relations with other black countries in world wide and even I would say from experience it is much better to deal with discrimination in anothrer country due to my nationality than race discrimination because of the colour of my skin. We didn't alienate ourselves from relations with other black countries and as smug as it may sound that is one factor whysome of us can sit here and say we can choose to fight or leave when we wish to.

You need to remember that we are dealing with about 5 decades of our prescense strongly in the uk so we are not felt welcome you are dealing with hundreds of years and i really do not seethat much of adifference to you in america and our prescence here in the uk.

my husband has travelled extensively and he has always said why he finds it amazing that in other countries he will easily find Africans and African Caribbeans there setting up home and business but African Americans will be nothing more than on vacation there.

you have 3 types of people those that will fight to make a change those that won't fight they need to think about leaving then, and those who are still asleep and dreaming of the good ship lollypop.

if the white man wants to kill of black people they do not have to wait until we are all in the same place. Because we do not have our own major institutions they can get to us by many means so being in different areas means jack shyte if you are sitting ducks. once you are rich here you stay rich unless you are incompetent. Most of those Rich people affected have insurance and have contacts, one rapper got airlifted by his record label and they will give him an advane on a new home. like you guys hold skepticism on plans we hide our contacts, it keeps the money in pocket

Jamaica could never accomodate 40 million. Most these nations are ill equipped for a mass exodus. True but the invitation has been placed out for us to migrate to African countries throughout time. In fact any nation would take from America because we have money as well as skills in all areas. honestly... I just left West Texas and returned to the North, most people would relocate before leaving the USA. It is good to have a choice sometimes but when you can readily move you only put up half the fight. You fight better when you back is against the wall.

Damn....I was trying to hook up so I could assimilate you! Yeah, you have to understand that the USA is so huge that you can travel 3,000 miles and set up a business and still be in the USA. We have so much here that there are no incentives to go outside other than for vacations. With some Nations establishing business is too tiresome, too many payffs, red tape and more...confused2 I can drive 10 minutes, sign up for a business license and then get a government grant ($$$) and start something up as long as I'm credentialed. Creature comforts galore! Honestly....who would leave this?

You have all three in NO, many have given up and in fact will relocate to my state as of tonight, kids will start school Wednesday, placed in housing and provided job search and money to live off of. its crazy, this is what people will be leaving behind, money to fight, comfort and rewards for hard fought battles.
