I was thinking about the compensation package that displaced New Orleaneans and Mississipians should get,but more on that later....................

What I do know is this,The Jews who were "displaced" from the West Bank each received a compensation package between the region of $100,000 and $400,000,with theaid of *coughs* the American government,but lets not go there...yet.

So keeping in mind that these Jews were just moved from one spot to another,they didnt have to deal with hurricanes or excessive death,dont you think the American government had better come correct with their compensation package for its own people???

Ok,we know it wont happen,but im just putting the question out there for debate.

At the bare minimum each person should receive $50,000 as part of a relocation package,especially the people with no insurance etc.

Now say the number is 1 million people that have to be compensated, $50,000x1 million people equals 50 BILLION DOLLARS!!!!if im not mistaken,that a lot of bloody cheddar!

The city of New Orleans itself is only insured for 25 Billion,I suggest the U.S start accepting international aid with a quickness.

Especially that 500 mill from Kuwait.

Now I'll be surprised ifI ever see that in the papers.

JB..,that is never going to happen in a million years.., unless those people of NO get together and sue the government for gross negligence, because that is exactly what it was.

This american government does not seem interested in taking care of its people or its workers in that way.

It appears to prefer allowing millions of poor desperate immigrants into the nation for use as cheap labor and allowing the poor to swelter together.

There are plenty of blacks who have “made it� in America but many have not.

The latest statistics on poverty shows a 1.1 million increase in white poverty. The black and Hispanic levels have remained the same. The governemnt doesn'tseem to care muchabout the poor period.

The outpouring from many americans toward thepeople ofNew Orleans has been somewhat encouraging though.
