Salaam, Family...

I ask this question because I want to understand:

What is the Pan-Africanist and/or Kemetic view of the Origin of Man?

All sincere responses are appreciated. Thanx.

RM

I don't know what the Khemetic view of the origin of man is but I thought pan-Africanism was a political ideaology.

Kemet was the name of the ancient egypt and kamits were inhabitants of this country. Persons of this country were african so "black". These persons constructed pyramidsthat you could see in many pictures of egypt.in fact, egyptian were not an asian and white mixpeople as manyeuropean are saying, but they were african. Check Anta Diop, a senegalese lecturer proved in his researchs that african languagesasthe wolofcome frompharaonichyerogliphes. Thanks to his researchs, the myth of white egyptians is dying... AmI clear ?

You're right, Khemet was a Black African civilization. I actually just bought the African Origin of Civilization by Diop and two books on Ifa and African mythology yesterday. The poster is asking what the pan-Africanist/Khemetic view of the origin of man is but that's a religious matter, I don't know any creation stories from the ancient Egyptian religion or even what their scientists thought but pan-Africanism is a political ideaology which promotes unity between African-descended people that doesn't deal with that.

Nothing, I just don't ascribe to it. The original poster was asking 'what is the pan-Africanist view of the origin of man' and I was saying there is no pan-Africanist creation stories or view of the origin of man, pan-Africanism is not a religion, it's a secular and political ideaology, pan-Africanists might have their own differingviews of the origin of man depending on their religions or philosophies. Khemet on the other hand I'm sure there are creaton stories and a Khemetic view of the origin of man, I just don't know it right now, but I'll probably read up on that later.

This is true, how does the proverb go, the hunter writes the history, not the lion or something like that.
