Some saythe Euro is the biggest economic threat to America since the Great Depression and there's evidence that one factor in the latest Gulf War wasSaddam's intention to start trading oil in Euros instead of Dollars.

I have a lot of money invested in the Euro, and have since it first came out about 5 years ago.

The U.K. is just as much part of Europe as France and Germany, so why the hell hasn't England switched over to the Euro yet?

You ever heard of the Golden Rule. He who has the gold makes the rules!

He who asks is a fool for five minutes. He who never asks remains a fool for ever.

Because prices would rise 20% like they have done in Europe! and these people are well pissed of with it!!
We will never go in the Euro, 90% of people will vote against it if there is ever a vote! which there will never be anyway.

From the little time I've spent there, neither Germany nor France seems to have the economic and social problems England has.

First England rejects the Euro, then she goes directly against the wishes of her other European peers by participating in the second Gulf War.

I see a dangerous pattern forming here.

It would make more sense for England to cozy up to her fellow Europeans if for no other reason but to provide a balanced "check" on American hegimony around the world, rather than straddling the fence like it is today.

Why is England isolating themselves from the rest of Europe?

* No one has done it yet, but please don't bring all that "7 head beast of Revelations" crap up in here.
All that mess about the Euro is the mark of the beast is nothing more than evangelical right-wing propaganda.
