I made a thread with a similar title a while back about taking the internet too seriously. I know people will disagree and debate on topics, even get offended, but do some of us let internet characters on the web get us worked up to a point where it may seemsome of uslose sleep over it?Is it that serious? Just wondering.

Raggo I take it serious.

I'm normal. I get wound up and I hold grudges. If I see certain people on road they would get sparked. No long ting.

Some folks can be irritating, but that's what makes us human, right? On the whole, I try not to take it too seriously but there are times when I could virtually strangle some people!

BTW DSP, are you the one on the left, right , middle or non of the above?

You ever argued with someone and then you met them and all the anger jus left, it's like breaking into a house and all you see are things from the junk yard. You could be arguing with a hermit or some guy who sits at home picking his nose and has no social life.

You could be arguing with a hermit or some guy who sits at home picking his nose and has no social life. That hermit and nosepicker will still get sparked. Then they won't try it with me no more. Depends on what you are referring to in "taking seriously."

Very few people can get me angry even with insults. That isn't important. In fact I figure if someone is insulting me then I probably hit a tender spot with them so they are merely conceeding victory. I have had some dude following me around the internet by one of my other handles attacking everything I said. I thought it was hilarious.

But I think the internet is very serious in regards distributing and acquiring information. I learned about Robert Kiyosaki's RICH DAD, POOR DAD on the internet. The reason that nitwit was following me around was because I was telling people that the economics profession ignores depreciation of consumer goods. But I have had one economist say I am right and that the test books are wrong.

So it can be VERY serious.
